Questions about powers and using a Silver Account

MalochMaloch Member Posts: 6

Hi Guys,

I've come here because if you're on F2P then you can't use the CO Official Forums.

Sneaky.

So I've been finding lots of silly limitations being on F2P such as not being able to join SG created Chat channels and it would appear, not being able to upgrade my powers fully.

Can someone please assist with this following problem:

I'm Lvl13 and I've bought upgraded my new powers accordingly in the Power House.

When I check my Powers list it shows which ones I've purchased and lists their stats however I notice that when I use the Powers they're still operating on the basic, level 1 stats.

Do I have to do something specific to equip the new level power or is this a Silver limitation? No-one seems to know and I can't get any official support. Tried sending a ticket in but no response.

Loving the game just wish they'd be more clear on the Silver restrictions.

Thanks for any help!

I actually would like to know what all are the limitations of gameplay on F2P accounts.   I tried it out for a little bit a few days ago and I was tickled.   Very fun, casual themepark that let me create my ideal superdude.   F2P helps, tbh, but all the same, I may play a bit more once I find out the restrictions.   What the OP stated kind of bothers me, if that's the case.

Anyone who can fully explain what I do and do not have access to on a F2P account?

This is not a troll, flame, or anything else worth banning me over. It is simply my pure opinion, and I have a right to share it.

I don't play Chapions online. But I wanted to chime in here anyways. In many MMO's after you upgrade the skill, you need to drag and drop the skill again from the skill list to the quick key slot. The reason for this in many MMo's is so you can use different tiers of the skill to conserve power and such when the highest tier isn't needed. If its not this then sorry I couldn't be of more help.

if i remeber correctly there is only 1 spell.  Powers only got up in effectiveness two ways: 1) your supperstats add a percentage to the damage or 2) you do the rankup.  if you put the rank up points into it, it should apply it autpmatically, you do the rank ups at the powerhouse.

Yes, cheers, I did look for it and it still didn't tell you -everything- you can and cannot do.

You can't for example, join a SuperGroup private Channel. You can join the SG chat but if they make another room you can't get in it.

Or that you can't post on the Forums -at all-.

I've checked every board and unless I'm Gold, I can't post. It doesn't say that, does it?

As for dragging and dropping powers, tried it, but no change.

The power isn't automatically ranking up after being bought at the Powerhouse. It should be on a recharge of 8.3secs it's still on the level one recharge time of 26 secs. Damned if I can figure out the problem.

Depents, Kinda need a exsample of the power and the upgrade you choicen. Some upgrades are simple basic increase in dammage, some are % chance to add a in conditions are met, Some only work on Players(pvp) or npc's (pve) theres a whole lot of powers and upgrades, so need some details in order to see whats going on.

Edit: saw your responce above, can you give me the power name and the upgrade name you took? I might know stuff (not guaranteed :P )
