Out the Old in the New – Your Point of View

Greetings MMORPG Experts  ^__^.   After 4 years of sleepless nights, social sacrifices, I have recently overcome my chronic addiction of WoW.  Although my stay was unforgettable, making many virtual companions, providing undying dedication to previous Guilds, it was time to move on.  However, I felt empty and almost lost at times, eventually realizing WoW is a gateway drug into the realm of MMORPGs.  With that said, this forum is somewhat that “man” on the block with all the connections to get the “fix” (not writing from experience at all).  


I have recently been doing a lot of research on upcoming titles and to my surprise and satisfaction; there is a good shipment to look forward to.  People say more money more problems, and applied to this realm, more great games more problematic decisions.  Honestly, looking at all the exhilarating, potential features and options, I’m lost as to where to ultimately dedicate the next few months/years of game-play.  Drawing from all my previous experiences, the one thing I’m certain of is I want to avoid a game that does not have permanence.  I have tried many MMORPGs starting out making many friends and weeks, sometimes days down the line, have friends, guildies quit the game. 


 


In hopes to help my-self and possibly others out there, I’m conducting this little questionnaire and hopefully gain in-sight and crystal ball some of the upcoming titles.  What upcoming titles will actually make a positive footprint and be around for years to come.


 


I have compiled Longevity Polls for each upcoming titles below.   Great appreciation for those of you who vote on each game and input your thought and predictions, with a bit of luck I will see you in game someday!

    Character Creation for gw2 hasn't entirely been shown yet. All we have seen of it is the personality questions and some presets for the demo.

    If anyone have better CC/gamplay videos please let me know!  I'll replace/add the current ones posted.

    If anyone would like me to add additional upcoming titles to the list, let me know as well.

    while not for me i would suggest putting swtor up there, prolly more important than c9 for releases.

    Nothing agains c9, i know nothing about it, but if rift tera and gw2 is up there swtor should be 2

    Hey Tavoc, I'll definitely put SWtOR up, unfortunately I don't know anything about it either.  If anyone wants to write short description for it definitely welcome.  I'll do some research and get some vid links.
