Wow, just wow. Turbine servers are completely unreachable as of this post. From LOTRO to DDO and everything else in-between. All domains, all services, all web servers. I wonder if their contracted server center experienced a huge disaster? For an MMO addict, that leaves me in withdrawal, lol.
Anyone else able to get through? I have Comcast cable broadband and Verizon DSL broadband as a backup and none are able to connect there. Very odd. No announcement since no connection, so I'd assume this was unplanned (ie: a disaster)?

First time in hisotry of LOTRO european players are in better situation than US folk
LOL. Sorry to hear your servers in Europe have issues sometimes. Yeah, from the looks of it, all of their domains, web servers, account servers, and game servers are completely disconnected from the Internet (at least for North Amercia).
From Turbine's Twitter account...
"We're currently investigating service issues impacting the game and websites. Thanks for your patience while we work to resolve them!"
"Our techs are on site working to resolve the datacenter issues. Thanks for your patience, and we'll bring more updates as they're available!"
"Our network operations staff is onsite at our datacenter working on the service issues."
I refuse to use Twitter (after their security fiasco last year), but I have no qualms over reading data from it. However, Turbine idn't sharing status updates on their Facebook page. So much for them syncing social media.
