Are servers down?!

sry to ask this here and don't even know if it will get answered, but i was playing a few hours ago just fine. Got kicked, thinking it was my internet but browser was working fine and even played AVA fine. I cannot log onto ddo.com or the official ddo forums or of course log into the game. I was not aware of maintenance but i figured i'd try and post to see if anyone knows differently or even better can point me in the direction of something that would help me fix my problem.

btw - for the website prob. i already tried deleting history/cookies and tried bother Firefox and Crome.

    Yea, we where wondering this as well. It would be nice if they would leave some hint on what is happening. This could be a normal maintenance day as well. But who knows? If someone knows, let us know too...

    ah!, well at least i know i'm not alone.. that is a start :)

     

    oh and also - i've been on before just before servers went down and they always would give a warning to log out. I was on for at least an hour and a half before i was kicked and never saw a message.

    Its kinda rude to shut everything down and leave us hanging. Unless they where assaulted or something. Maby they have their servers in egypt?

    There was an announcment here (mmorpg.com). Turbine is having some problems right now. lotro is down as well.

    It's a proven historical fact that beer saved humankind.

    I know its lotro but when its up your stuff will be up.

    I am 93% sure I am the cause of this. After being gone for about 5 months I resubbed yesterday. Today the entire Turbine world crashes, coincedence? I think not. Sorry for all the problems my return to DDO has caused. Oddly enough it was days like today that were part of why I left in the first place.

    The Turbine twitter says DDO was back up 15 mins ago but I still can't get in.
