I am looking for a new MMORPG and that i want to have this stuff. if its a must ill tell you the rest is just what i like
1.MUST have gender choice
2.MUST have skill points so you dont buy your skills and a skill tree like in WoW or a job skill thing like in Maplestory,
3.Atleast Some what nice community
4. Good Graphics
5.Sidescroller or 3D with a screen that can rotate so no Ragnarok or With your Destiny crap
6.MUST have a early leveling fast but i dont care if it slows down later on
7.PvP Arena and/or Raids like WoW has
8.Doesnt matter to much but a cool pet system like Battle of Immortals or Dragon Oath
Or you could list your Favorite MMORPG.
mine are Maplestory, WoW, Dragon Oath, Battle of Immortals, Forsaken World, WonderKing, Pandora Saga

I'd...just list my favorite MMORPGs:
Aika Global (my current fave) - Unparalleled PvP (as in factions fighting, and there are hundreds in your screen at once, and no lag). Cons are that the stuff are gender-locked, and that graphics, although very detailed, are somewhat simplified (look very closely) to enable mass PvP without lag. It is very fun though since I'm a PvP specialist. (check video of raids)
*oh, and for pets, you get PRANS!
Another good game is Cardmon Hero, and it fits most of what you require. The skills are cards though and not really skill points, so you can easily change skills just by buying cards. Summons (a core part of the game) are also different as you can summon mercenaries to help you fight (and you can summon a LOT)
Well, since you only asked for MMORPGS... ok anyway, I'll still post them:
For MMOG, I also love Dynasty Warriors online since I really liked the hack and slash action of the console games. There really is nothing like seeing 1000+ kills on your screen (and that's why I also liked Aika).
For TPS, I'm into S4 League since the characters there look REALLY GOOD, and the gameplay is VERY FUN! I am waiting for Warcry though, but that's a long ways away. So far, nothing is better than S4 League in terms of gameplay, at least until Warcry comes along.
...so there. Recommended games. :P Try them out if you'd like. XD
<TBA>
I had heard about Aika before, but the locked gender-specific builds turned me off. I like building a bad-arse female Warrior-type 'toon from time to time.
But I did _not_ know about Dynasty Warriors or S4 League. Both look pretty good.
Being I'm basically in the midst of an MMO-purgatory myself, looks like I just found two new games to try out,
Tnks!

I played Dynasty Warriors as a closed beta tester. It is a game where you have missions and get ranked on them. But you are teleported to the fight. Think of Halo or Call of Duty. accept you run around a town and you get to CUSTOMIZE your own house to a limit. basically you kill the other warriors (they are easy) for you skills and your health. then you do your objective in the mission. when in beta testing i never found out about weapons but you can upgrade yours. your skills and health restart with every mission and there is a time limit. you can pvp but its like a mission but both sides have there heros. AMAZING Customization. you choose your dynasty, what you look like, gender. its not almost infinite like a few mmorpgs
Anymore?
i downlaoding that dragon one now :P
i played aika and it wasnt very populated. i mean i was in a guild i think they called it. i havent played in a year i think. but i also didnt like the sprite qusts and all that if i remember its a little confusing. the gender lock was a let down but not a total one. it was a good game. the first d
dungeon/instance though had no one there so i could never do it
Cardmon hero is good but the problem i have with it is its more focused on summons then your class. i mean i love the summoning part of having your own little army. but i dont like the skills. seriously i love mages priests archers and every now and then a warrior. but i dont like that game for one reason. no matter what class you are. its all about the summons and the mages natural attack is hitting wich is also a turn off because i think magic classes auto attack should be a magic attack. Dreamland online (i have a review posted on this sites dreamland online forum area) tried to do this. all classes have a natural attack based on clas but mages are close combat with a sparkly line and i find that stupid.

So I've been playing Vindictus the past couple nights, and I'm having a pretty good time at it.
It's a different type of MMORPG than I've played before. Combat is much more action-orientated. My 'toon has basically two weapon attacks (left-mouse, right-mouse). But you can hit-off different combos.
So left-mouse/right-mouse does one combo
left-mouse/left-mouse/right-mouse does another
left-mouse/left-mouse/left-mouse/right-mouse does a third
left-mouse/left-mouse/left-mouse/left-mouse/right-mouse does the fourth
I can kick stuff, R-key
And I've got a "secondary weapon". F-key to enter "aim-mode" and fire-away.
I've got a recovery spell (hold-right-click).
Then I've got a couple spells (1-key and 2-key [big fire on 2, I likey 2]), and my heal potion on my last key, and that's it so far.
There's also the Spacebar to dodge/jump out of the way of attacks. Which actually _does_ allow you to dodge attacks when done at the right time, surprisingly.
And if I'm running (hold shift while moving) for a while, my 'toon builds up some kinda magic energy, and if I right-click _BLAM_ it fires off. Good for entering an area full of baddies I've noticed,
And oddly enough, I really like it.
I notice what I'm doing a lot more than in the regular old "action bar" full of skills. Trying to time the click/click/click so I can hit the specific combo that I want.
The character customization isn't great. But the graphics are real nice for a f2p game. And the characters look nice. Especially the higher-level ones I saw running around, some of the armor is pretty epic looking.
Don't have a good sense of the community yet, but did jump into a couple groups for a couple of my "story lines" (not called missions in this one, I guess), and we had fun whomping on baddies together.
I think I might have found a new home to hold me over until the next Rift beta, and until Rift goes live. And even a nice game to flip to whenever I need a break from whatever other game I might also be playing.
So... Vindictus... Gets a good score from me, at least,
Cheers!
