This is odd news... I've been able to play Aika for a long time already, while I'm from the EU... Perhaps because I have a REAL OLD account with gTater..?
If I recall, they allowed people with accounts made before the region locking took place to keep playing.
"Please play our game...someone?...anyone!?"
Yeah, if you had an account before the lock you could continue to play.
But even so, EU players have been able to play on T3Fun's service for a good while now
Can someone who played both versions help me a bit?I was thinking of returning to Aika as i already have an account with Gpotato but never tried T3HFun's version. Is there a shred of difference in the game itself,i won't be spending in the cash shop anyway?
I saw a few Aika server (korean, brasil, na, "global so philippino", russian... Open an Aika EU server ply only europeans!
...
Global Aika s*cks...
Aika Global is full of Asians right now, I think Filipinos? It's fine though, at least they mostly shout in english.
I'm starting to wonder though, will there be an Aika Antarctica? :P
Anyway, I'm sticking to the global one. The community there is great, no bots, and NO GOLD SPAMMERS!! (*cough Gpotato*cough*)
<TBA>
I'd say the Gpotato version is a MUCH better translation. The Global version kinda took the direct translation from the Korean one, so the names and dialogue are kinda, meh. Still, I'd tell you the Global version has better management. There are no bots there, and No Gold Spammers. Still, The Gpotato version is only open to North Americans, while the Global one is open to everyone else without their own version (like Antarctica).

No gold spammer in Aika Global? .... I bought more than 50m there....
Lot of goldseller there...
But its ok...
All aika server started without eu -.- .... Im european... If i want to go a nice raid... must be play in 02:00 am...
Cant join a full english legion bcoz asian always...
And russian, brasil aika... Biggest business than eu? EU server bad business? -.-
I want an aika eu server and 1000+ europeans too. Lot of donator!
OPEN AN AIKA EU SERVER IN FEBRUARY 17TH! OR WE MUST BE MAKE A PETITION?
Well thanks QuasiRain, ill start downloading it
I can't be bothered to change.
Aika global has a great community. It's very rare to see a gold seller and the CMs / GM kill them off. I've never seen a Bot and gPotato offering Double XP for a weekend is a poor enticement.
Start Global in the recommended nation and you get 7 days Double XP soon after starting.
Aika is not GWs, but its not a bad grinder, lots of quests (at least to level 40) and nation war is a laugh.
