Whether you're a devout follower or just impartial to ArenaNet, you have to give them props for being so active with their community and with the general MMORPG community, as of late. This is the sort of thing you'd expect from a developmenet studio much closer to release, so it's great to see interviews like this.
As for the interview... it was a great listen. A bit random, but it did provide more insight into the game. Like talking about how they develop a profession and they went into the Guardian's various traits.
At 14:30 they mention ' Threat ' & there not being ' Taunts ' . I want more info on this . In GW1 it is usually the squishiest target that the mobs will attack . What will cause Threat in GW2 ? If it's squishiness then will you lose Threat if you put up a defensive buff ? Will it be high DPS or party Healing ? Will it be proximity to the mob ? Will it be the player using the most effective Crowd Control / party buffs / Mesmer mind tricks ? My guess would be that it's a combination of all of the above but I would just like to hear a bit more info . I don't want to build a rock hard Warrior that mobs will ignore while they kill the rest of my party .
Good podcast, which they would have coverd a question i have had since the release of the guardian.. with a class like that was would make people want to play the warrior more? personaly im dead set on human warrior, but the concern is still there

They have said the Guardian is to the Warrior, what the Necromancer is to the Elementalist, they will have a more support oriented role, rathe than a focus on combat.
I haven't listened to it, but apparently in the after party audio one of the developers stops by and mentions that they have already changed the recharge time on the guardian's virtues but doesn't say to what I guess.

Well I only listened to the interview-part and not the afterparty but I thought the information on holy trinity and traits was interesting.

Nozzie, at this point the greatest factor is proximity but they're not completly happy with the npc ai and it will suffer some changes untill release.
