Is it possible to play a pve crafter only person as I have no interest in pvp - is it easy to avoid the pvp areas/towns?

Yes it is although i am very new to the game like two weeks, my experience with previous mmo's has helped me understand the game faster than others. And i see alot of people in the game asking questions that i now am able to answer for them., this tells me i am not the only person to take advantage of the alienwarearena promotion that is giving out a free in game weapon which was cool, and they also giving out free product keys, so you get the game free too im seeing alot newcomers like me in game.

Im lovingt this game, the community is very helpful and the game automatically tunes you to the "help" chat which is connected to like a huge zone that any question should get answered quickly. Which is good cause the awesomeness and freshness of this game just has me addicted, i had not felt like this since DAOC and frankly have not felt it again on my search for the "next big" mmo. This game is extremely well made im jus angry i had this game last on my games to try list. Ive tried em all Darkfall was my last one and while that game has some new things it jus has too many other things broken, including the game itself which tends to break from time to time and you have no monsters to kill.

So anyways  you can craft anything you like in this game its awesome and you can craft while you kill and gather at the same time youll see how in game,  right now im on my quest to craft my  first ATV ( all terrain vehicle) verye arly on im only lvl 11. You can totally avoid pvp areas, there is something called bloodsports which is a pvp arena its like unreal tournamentish very cool its so if ya wanna do pvp but not want to risk loosing anything its also there. The game is sandboxish, you can play it how you want and go where you want, the world is huge no constant portals to go through to enter zones, its beautiful.

What can i say im too hyped on this game ive finally found my new home, try it out oh and here are couple sites for ya to checkout google {fallen earth wiki} and also {globaltechplanner} gives ya an idea on where to put points on your first char since your going the pve crafting route you should have a good idea where to put poins, they have builds premade for ya, and one thing i learned quick is those AP's are important. basically same route im taking my first char a crafter, my second char will be for pvp right now im crafting and gathering questing and loving it. GL to ya seeya in game.

    What about later sectors though:

Can you stay away from the conflict areas/towns?

Is there mats in the game that can only be found in those areas?

Also if you do get killed by a player there, do you loose any items?

You can avoid conflict towns completely.

There might be some mats only there, but lets say 3% of mats can only be obtained there.

You can buy them anyway from someone on the auctioneer(auction house).

Your equipment will decay a little.
