Heya ppl. I have a question about the Ranger armor available troughout the game. I've just arrived in the Oasis. I found a collector in that town who gives Ranger masks in exchange for certain items. Those masks have an armor of 70. I checked some websites, and I can't find any information about a better armor... So I assume 70 is the best you can get? Or will I find even better armor a bit later in the game? You may think ''why do you ask, just play on and find out''. But I just don't want to spend a sick ammount of gold on armor, runes and dye only to find out that I can find better armor later on. So, to keep it simple, is there a better armor in the game available for Rangers than 70, if so, where can I find it? Thnx in advance for your replies.

I wanted to add that you dont lose rune when you put it on armor since if you salevage your armor wit an expert kit you get back your rune so dont hesitate to put rune on your sucky armor.
You might get it back, its a chance as with all salvages (expert kit has higher chance than regular).
ok well it seam rare to miss tough since i did it relly often and it never failed.
First of all, thnx for your replies. Sorry for not posting this topic in the right ''map''. I thought I was already posting in the GW forum, guess I clicked the wrong link. I tried to find Fissure of Woe on the map, but I can't find it anywhere... Can you tell me where it lies? I downloaded a map from the internet, but Fissure of Woe is nowhere to be found on that one. Not necessarily as someone else mentioned. I've gotten one rune off of upgraded armor out of 5 attempts using the expert Salvage kit. It's a running joke with some of my guild mates cause I'm the only one it seems to happen to. Everyone else gets their runes off like 100% of the time. It's made me more reluctant to apply runes to my 'interim' armor.

Yeah, I waited on majors and superior until my final armor. Minor runes are cheap though. I actually prefer to get the fur/steel back rather than the 200g minor runes. Up until my last switch of armors I had great success with getting runes back (somewhat unfortunately) and my duo partner had awful success. This last time we both lost half of our runes (4 out of 8, 3 were mine.),
