World of Warcraft: Blizzcon 2011 Detailed

Blizzard Entertainment has announced some of the details for Blizzcon 2011. The annual convention to celebrate all things Starcraft, Diablo and World of Warcraft will be held on October 21-22, 2011 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

In addition to serving as a gathering place for Blizzard Entertainment gaming communities, BlizzCon will offer attendees a chance to enjoy:


  • Hands-on play time with the latest versions of Blizzard Entertainment games

  • Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers

  • Competitive and casual tournaments for players to showcase their talents

  • Community contests with great prizes

  • Commemorative merchandise based on Blizzard Entertainment’s game universes

  • More activities and attractions to be announced

    Will be ordering the digital stream ticket like last year, as long as it is as robust as last year's, it was awesome.

    Hopefully this year's major attraction will be Diablo 3 with a release date :P

    All I am interested in is Diablo III .Cata I never even bought it.

    I will definitely pay for the stream this year as well. I just hope that a) Jay Mohr will be hosting it, and b) that he will be using his own material this time.

    The focus will be on D3 followed by the SC2 expansion followed by a sneek peek at the new WoW expac followed by a teaser for the new MMO (maybe).

    I wish i could go but the cost of travel from Sweden is quite prohibitive,,, So i'l prolly stick with the live stream this year too. did so last year and the year before that and we had no problem at all.

    the release for D3 will be announced this year and a peak at the new SC2 Xpansion.....the new MMO sneak peak will be for next year me thinks together with the 3rd SC2 xpansion :)

    mark these words hehe :)

     

    edit: title should be Blizzcon lineup......ic NO details whatsoever in the post m8, just a same old rough lineup that is almost identical to last year tbh :p
