this is going to be awesome. it seems every race will get its own week or information reveal which include the lore, the videos, the sound, the art, etc. Let the reveals begin
Welcome to “Human Week,” our week-long look at humans here on the ArenaNet Blog and on GuildWars2.com!
A noble, resilient people, humans were the only playable race in Guild Wars, but a lot has changed in the 250 years between the original game and Guild Wars 2. Times are tough for the humans of Kryta; they have to contend with marauding centaurs, bandits, and internal intrigue, to say nothing of the looming threat of the Elder Dragons. Through it all, they’ve managed to maintain their hope, dignity, and (as you’ll see) their fashion sense.
“They are a proud people,” Continuity and Lore Designer Jeff Grubb, “They’ve been knocked back but not knocked out.”
Here’s what we’ve got planned this week:
Tuesday – In a blog post full of cool audio clips of the background conversations between human NPCs, writer John Ryan will show how writing and sound design bring the human story to life in Guild Wars 2. This dialogue, overheard by your character in the human areas, really expands and fleshes out the world in a way that simple quest text can’t.
Wednesday – Character art team lead Aaron Coberly discusses the current state of human character design in this blog post, which features some great examples of the range of armor and clothing available to human characters inGuild Wars 2.
Thursday – We’re updating the human page on GuildWars2.com with new background detail authored by Jeff Grubb, new wallpapers, and a brand-new video tour of the human homeland.
Friday – Lore and Continuity Designer Ree Soesbee explores the tension and balance of power between the three main armed factions in Kryta – the Seraph, the Ministry Guard, and the Shining Blade in this intriguing blog post.
What does it mean to be human in Guild Wars 2? This week you’re going to find out!
If they are doing one race a week in February (like was rumored), that would put the last race week starting on March 7th, which would mean that we are not getting another profession reveal until after PAX East...

Don't count on it. The only people who know Anet's schedule is Anet and all the speculation in the world isn't going to help us figure out what they're going to show and when.

Meh, well at least I predicted as much.
Nope, as has been said this will not happen, however it was revealed here http://www.killtenrats.com/2011/02/04/gw2-tear-the-roof-off/ that there will be another race week this month. Most people are expecting Charr because we already know and have already seen the most of them of the remaining races.

Looks like a hefty information DL, which is awesome. I will wait 'till saturday though and have a proper sit down and read though.
Looking forward to the asura though... can't wait to get my golem on. (so to speak)
They can skip charr week. The only good charr is a dead charr. Since they wont let me kill charr, except maybe flame legion or corrupted ones, I plan to be "fierce" and punch charr npc's in the face whenever I have that option.
Human week is cool, but I'm hoping next week or the week after is asura week because I plan on making an asuran assassin or mesmer so I need to see what's up with my little guys. I think its gonna be pretty tight walking around shanking people as a midget assassin.
