umm i quit playing wow as it just got too mainstream and catered to mental patients that cant handle difficulty... tried a few F2P mmo's but got bored after realizing i had to buy adventure packs for quests... why would i wanna level if i would just have to pay later to finish leveling... so i thought about it and i always wanted to go back to GW1... cant wait for GW@ but that wont be done for a while... questions i want actual GW1 players to answer please... 1) is there still a good player base? as in are there still a good amount of people playing... i dont wanna solo... i enjoy grouping and raiding... 2) is it pretty easy to level from 1 to max level? as in i dont wanna be alone in zones/instances/dungeons for 1 million hours... 3) is end-game good? i would like to group with a good group of people and maybe take some bosses down... 4) are the people helpful? i may have some questions in the beginning but ive been around for a while so i catch on pretty quickly... sorry for overlaps in some questions... just dont wanna waste money if i dont have to... lookin to play a game with some challenge and equal reward

1) With the HoM (hall of monuments) connecting gw1 to gw2 and adding incentive to go back and play the original game I believe there are quite a few people still playing.
2 and 3) The max level is 20. It shouldn't take you very long to reach it either as the whole game was designed so that you would be playing through most of the content at max level.
You will find a ton of people online these days as a lot of former/current/new players are working on their Hall of Monument awards in preparation for GW2. I play mostly on the weekends and have never failed to find a group for pretty much anything. If you already own the game it costs you nothing to come back and check the game out again.
one last question sorry... i am goin to buy the trilogy edition guild wars but i noticed it doesnt come with eye of the north? what would that mean for me? i take it, it reflects more on end-game? or am i wrong?
also... i just had a baby... girlfriend wants me to play a game i can help her when im not too busy... i dont know how end-game is... but if i need to afk mid-fight is that possible in a grp or no?
Simply put yes the baby should always come first and if you join a guild exsplain this they should be understanding, and going afk mid fight should cause no problems.
Granted people may die but RL should always come first no matter what game you play.
