Anyone know when CCP doing next 5-day trial for old account holders?

Been considering coming back to EVE after a long abscence. I recieved a 5 day invite to re-activate awhile back but didn't take advantage of it at the time. Not sure if I want to pay to see if I'll take a renewed liking to EVE. Any chance of another trial invite for next expansion or something?

why not just use the 21 day trial available at any time? Granted you can't reactivate your account, but at least you can see whether you want to get back into it before reactivating your account.

You can petition for a 5 day pass. Just tell them you want to try Incursions.
Didn't know you could do a free trial account on a computer you already had paid account.
I'll try contacting CCP and see if I can get a 5 day trial offer again as I didn't use the last one they offered.

Yesterday I opened a petition on the official website to ask them for a free trial pass on my cancelled account to check up the improvements of the game. In less than 24 hours they reactivated my account for 5 days
Thanks for the replies. I just caved and bought a 1 montth sus. We'll see how it goes.
I wanted to try it out again. I didn't feel like paying 15 bucks right now, So I did as you guys suggested. I got this responce.

Just for future reference, you can have both the trial and live client on your computer. You just cannot play them both at the same time (dual boxing) for obvious reasons.
You can start a trail account and play it. The only thing is that you are starting with a new account, but that should be enough to give you time to play incursion and get an idea of what it is like. You are not able to play a trial account at the same time as a any other account, but you are able to play a trial account if there are no other accounts active.
Just sign up for a trial account or get someone to send you a buddy key. I'd offer to send a buddy key, but i have cancelled my account already.

Of course you can play them at the same time... I was playing my maincombat account (subbed), and a 21 day trial account wich was for a mining alt, never had a single problem... As long as you don't behave like a multi-boxing bot, you won't have problems, since multiboxing is tolerated...
I'm french, that's why I sometimes mis-use or mis-spell some words... Please don't blame me.

They only seem to offer these maybe once or twice a year, and often its timed very strategically, usually well BEFORE an expansion. then after the 5 days they offer you a deal, 2 months for 20$ which means that you will land on an expansion.
This suits me, but does mean that I dont expect another 5 days for a long while yet.
They tend to do them at christmas, I was actually hoping and thinking about this 5 day offer thing myself today. Really hope it comes soon but I think we are out of luck for almost a year.
I didn't get one last christmas.

Only got it on one of my accounts, the the one I don't use, dammmmit :P
It should work on any account as long as they have been inactive for a while
