"This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good."

These two words/names came from the Islamic Jinn (spelled whichever way you like - commonly seen as either form written here). There are not a whole lot of references to Jinn, but Jinn are spirits made of fire and, like men, can be either good or evil. In Islamic context, the evil Jinn do the "dirty work" of Satan by whispering suggestions of sinful behavior in our ears. These two definitions found by Djinn are effective western bastardizations of the original meaning of the word Jinn.

P.S. Sorry about that empty post. I tried deleting it, but couldn't figure out how.

    Yahweh –

    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

N : name for the Old Testament God as transliterated from the Hebrew YHVH

    1. A name for God assumed by modern scholars to be a convention for pronouncing the Tetragrammaton (Tetragrammaton - The four Hebrew letters usually transliterated as YHWH or JHVH, used as a biblical proper name for God)

There was also a reference to Yahweh to being an ET? I don’t know, check out http://www.rael.org/english/index.html

    Thats it for now!

    P.

When you understand why you reject all other gods but your own, you will understand why I reject yours.

Hmmm, if you are referring to my explanation of Jinn then, no, not at all. As I said before, in the original Islamic context of Jinn they, like humans, have free will - they can be good, they can be bad. The "bad" Jinn are the ones who work with Satan to pull humans into sinful behavior by whispering sinful suggestions into their ears. They can have absolutely no power over those who do not listen. think of them as beings just like humans, only in some other form of existance. Perhaps this will help you better understand the origin: The Islamic separation of Satan from God is just like the Christian story, only Satan was not an angel (the Islamic idea of angels are spirits who are incapable of disobedience) - he was a Jinn. When God taught Adam the names of things he instructed him to show everybody else what he knew. He did so and then God told all the angels and jinn to bow down to him to show that he was better (the angels did not have the knowledge Adam did and, as we all know, knowledge is power). One of the jinn, Satan, said, "Man, this be wack. This man isn't better than me. He is made of mud and I am made of fire. Screw this." So God told him to get the heck out. Satan said, "You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna make your men disobey you" and left - and some of the jinn followed Satan, and some of them stayed.

I'm talking about the word Djin,  and Djinn.  One is an evil god,  the other is a genie.

    GEOFFREY   m   English
    Pronounced: JEF-ree
From an Old French form of a Germanic name. The second element is Germanic frid "peace", but the first element may be either gawia "territory", walah "stranger" or gisil "hostage". It is possible that two or more names merged into a single form. The name was introduced to England by the Normans, where it became common among the nobility. Famous literary bearers include the 12th-century chronicler Geoffrey of Monmouth and the 14th-century poet Geoffrey Chaucer, writer of 'The Canterbury Tales'.

My names Jeff but then it says its short for jeffrey, then jeffrey is short for geoffrey so i had to check that. Ugh, i'd rather go by the name Rathma than "geoffrey" image

Homer-"let the bears pay the bear tax, but i pay the Homer tax."
    Lisa-"Dad, that's the homeOWNERS tax!"
    Homer-"Whatever I'll be at Moes."

Right, then. The truer, original meaning of those words is as described above. People took the Jinn of Islam and made them to be evil genies. Like I said before, it's more of a western bastardization. That's truly not the real meaning.

    JORDAN   m,f   English, German, Biblical
    Pronounced: JOR-dan
From the name of a river flowing between the countries of Jordan and Israel. The river's name in Hebrew is Yarden, and it is derived from yarad meaning "descend" or "flow down". John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ in its waters, and it was adopted as a personal name after crusaders brought back water from the river to baptize their children.
