Dont like Guild Wars? Why are you on this forum?

Why does every post in here have to turn into a bitch fest back and forth between two fourteen year olds? If you hate this game so much dont talk about it, dont flame it just go on with your life. Truth is Guild Wars is a great idea and a great way for people to play together in a MMO setting and get some quick action and some truly breathtaking special effects and dazzling PvP with amazing reply value for a game of its size.

Dont be jealous of Guild Wars just be happy that a game is making money and getting people excited about RPG's and expanding the mmo and rpg communities which is better for us all. Thank you for your time.

    Whinning is what some people do best.image  Especially people that have trouble playing most games.  Pathetic gamers striving for attention, instead of trying to become better at the games themselves, thus making them more enjoyable.  It's really very sad.

    i know! its like, why don't people seem to get it that people aren't listening to their ignorrant point, they're pissed off at them for posting something stupid! what some website should do is: make a forum that just screams out to obnoxious 10 year olds "hey why do mmo's have fees to play?" (or something generic like that) and just let the kids loose. ohh yeah.

    Well, this is a forum to discuss the game. I don't have a problem when people, who have actually played the game, voice their opinions of the game. I really can't stand it when people just hang around flaming the game any chance they get (One post per Troll plz). image

    if no one ever talked about the bad side of the games, then this forum would get pretty bohring. reading how great a game is all the time gets just as annoying.

    LoL, hearing about the good sides only, might be annoying, but comments like this are just simply very sad.

    I agree, if someone has played the game and would like to give their opinion about it (no matter if positive or negative) it's fine. Constructive criticism is even better but people that just don't have anything to say other than the above (as an example), well I can just say I pitty them.

    One thing that is by now more common than it should be is the "flaming". People start bitching about a game they don't like and try to ruin it for other gamers, but the question is why? Are they really that bored and don't have anything else to do? Just a way of raising their post count?

    And not enough with that, no, they try to get personal on other people posting here. Well, yes, it is quite easy to do it this way, isn't it? Being all anonymous here. Here they dare to talk crap, cause they don't have to face the people and they don't really have to communicate.

    Play the game if you like it or don't play the game if you don't like it. And if you really have that urgent need to bitch, find something else to do. Read a book, meet friends or do something else instead of acting like an idiot.

    It's just sad how some ppl turn a good thread into a massive flame war.

    Posting constructive criticism is one thing.  Flamming a game for the sake of flamming is quite another.  A substantiated negative argument towards a game is fine imo, however too often it is a nieve "this game sucks" comment.  If your gonna flame a game, do it right.  Have some valid complaints and then, omg, maybe even a proposed solution to these problems.image

    since guild wars has come out, this forum has just been a place where all the sad kids go to cause trouble while they wait for their body hair to start growing.

    And for the pathethic part, I beat all those whiners, I actually take pride in what I achieve in those little games, so I am the pathetic ruler and proud of it!  image  When I do stuff, on solo or group based, better then let's say, Afterlife in a game like EQ, I was making sure folks on my server got the info(the fact that say guild never really focus on solo or group achievement is beside the point for me, althought they do have quite a few members who try to reach everything they can first, as a guild, solo and group achievement was not a priority)!  image

     

    Guild Wars is not bad and I wish them the best of luck.  However, they have the same interest DAoC ever got from me, I label them as ''PvP enforcing trash''.  That dont make it a bad game, it make it a game I wont even try!  image

    You know what i really enjoy doing when reading posts like this...reading people's xfire signatures to see if they even play guild wars! Not saying that you have to in order to understand what the topic is about, but it's something interesting i do a lot. As for the topic, i think that there aren't many bad mannered people on the guild wars game because it is an MMORPG. I have found that usually people who play MMORPG's are friendly and quick to offer advice, but once you get to forums, I think that's just another story inside itself.

    So many people insult the game, they have their standards set at like WoW level with no fees or anything, if it's not like that, doesn't crash every other hour, or have a bad community, it sucks in their eyes.

    So basically everyone who hates it either plays it nonstop till they get bored or they don't even buy it because they think it'll suck because there's no monthly fee.

    Just my two cents. image

    I think the most pathetic thing is someone pointing this out.  I'm glad you are enjoying guild wars, cause so am I.  Btw it wasn't whinning, it was merely pointing out a fact that has become abundantly apparent in my gaming experience.
