Apparently those that like it believe that it adds to the "full immersion and realistic gameplay". How that matches up with the way the mob just stands there for the first half of the video I will never know... I guess making the mob have full frontal nudity makes the gameplay more immersive and realistic than making a mob that actually moves and has AI...

The mob is standing there because the GM that was controlling him was basically showing him off (penis and all). You know this as well as I do. Sorry you had to see penis though
SVs fetish for nudity starts to be a bit immersion breaking.. there is no reason what so ever for an armored mob to leave his crotch completely exposed. Ethical reasons aside, it is a rather sensetive spot which should be protected during combat. Stupid design, really.
Maybe its for lore purposes... now we know Risar's don't practice circumcision.

it would be cool if the penis had lore to it and once you chopped it off it would give you magical powers or something....

well i really wasnt talking about chopping it off then eating it ..... More of chopping it off and hanging it from your weapon or shield for extra stats. Plus if people see it, it might scare some people and make them think twice about engaging in combat. Also it should have a nutt sack so it doesnt get confused with a sausage link or a brown trout.
Maybe it is merely the fact that , in the Mortal Online world, there is no original sin and thus no shame for it's inhabitants or need to cover the soft unmentionables.
I like the fact how all ignore that it is immersion breaking to not try to protect such sensetive parts in battle, while rest of your body is armored, but instead use the old cliche excuse "there is no shame".
Well, people always want lore, right? Maybe that guy belongs to a tribe where having your genitals unprotected is a sign of strength, such as to mock people that they couldn't hurt him even in the sensitive parts.
I don't play MO, but I don't care about pixel genitals, if they are there or not.

I was joking. Hope you are...otherwise you're wound a bit tight. Anyway....since I have to be serious (I guess)..I agree. I don't think any warrior outside of an issue of HEAVY METAL magazine would be caught dead (or alive) on the battlefield with his tender junk exposed to the elements. Even Smaug knew enough to try to hide his little uncovered achilles -heal belly patch...and he was a freakin Dragon. Yet this mob's johnson is swingin opposite his sword. It's simply stupid and silly looking. imo.
How is this game these days..this banality aside...any more enjoyable than last January? (because it was seriously bugged up a year ago..though it seemed semi-promising feature wise and the graphics..i actually kind of like them). I have a GTx275 i7 920 2.6ghz 7200rpm 16mb cache HD and 4gb ram..how will it run these days?
I don't think people are afraid of it, but rather question the need for it.
I mean, if we are going for realism we might as well add a defecate and urinating feature. A new profession to craft toilet paper could be added as well.
