If you want a game that takes forever, play FFXI. It takes forever to do anything in that game.

Guild wars bud. The PVE is Hard Solo and PVP is great.Theres a crazy amount of things to unlock skills/items,pluss the quests will take a long time.Guild wars is by far not over rated, and dont cost a fee each month. Its not to demanding on your system, its easy to run.

If you got time to play, I recommend EVE online.

Yeah, if you want a REALLY deep game, that will last for months and months, go with EVE. If you like the game, you'll be playing it for a while, considering some skills take over 26 days to have your character train. (in case you don't know about the skills system in eve, you pick a skill to train, and your char trains it night and day, logged in or not, while you play)

Well if your looking for a game that you can play for some time and not for a for few months stay away from Worldof Warcraft, Guild Wars and City of Heroes. If you don;t mind a few older games I'd say Anarchy online, EQ, Dark Ages of Camelot, and Star wars galaxies. If you you would like a newer game well you said you would have a problem with graphically intensive games then stick with the older ones. I'm mean heck Star Wars Galaxies has its total package coming out Tuesday its called "The experience" With the original and both of its expansions.

I don't know much about Eve Online its one of te very few MMO's I haven't played yet.

    Well I hop that helps.

    Have fun Gaming

thx every1 for the feedback.  I really do want to try out WoW, CoH AND guild wars :(.  But if they only last a few months then thats a disappointment.  I just love the way WoW looks, with its technological/mythological look.  Think i will try out EVE.  Ah its so hard to decide

    Lineage 2

    Eve Online

    Asheron's Call 1

    Final Fantasy XI

That is about all I can think of that will last more than a few months

Also, depends on how much you play.

You should give Eve-Online a try.

WoW is maybe shortest MMORPG out there...It offers quality content for 2 months if you play 2 hours every day.

i wish WoW and CoH where longer coz they just look so much fun to play.  Are there expansion packs for WoW though, if there are im will buy it as the ne content will keep me playing :)

Couldn't tell ya if Wow is going to have an expansion anytime soon but Coh will be fairly soon anyway. I think in the fall I don't remember and or know if they have a generalized Street date. City of villians will be out around then As apposed to being  Hero you can be a villian. I know I will be getting it reguardless of what I'm playing then.

ive got pretty much every skill unlocked and 4 lvl 20's rp..

have to buy another copy or delte a char to make any new ones.

if you want to run in the same few pvp arenas for 11 months of that year, yeah this is the game...

I suggest Ashen Empires if you dont have a graphic card that does those excessive 500 fps stuff.
I have been playing this game every day for almost 3 years with the same character, and just now getting close to maxing out but they are about to release a huge update, never maxed out content here :)

Everquest II has an almost infinite amount of content if you are a casual player and a great, long lasting gaming experience for hardcore players. I would try it out. EVE, Star Wars Galaxies, and Final Fantasy XI are all huge mmorpgs.

well if you dont like any of the games that all of the other guys posted and cant afford to pay per month theres always R.O.S.E online and runescape. if i were you i would go with rose because you can try runescape but its not a very good game. its addicting but not very fun. good luck::::28::
