Delux version with trial key.

My question is.

My friend (who used the 15-day trial key) wants to continue playing.
I thought he could just continue paying for the trial-account like usual.
But it says REJECTED when he tries to pay for it.
Does he now have to buy the game to be able to continue playing ?

    some say that they are playing with their trial account.

    The way I heard it works is you can only use the trail key for the 15 day period, then you need to use a game key.
