WoW is really good except it's server is way to pricey. who agrees?

I'm installing the game at the moment so can't really say. But what I can say is that I have paid for some other MMORPG's before and it seemed reasonable due to the fact that the game itself only cost 20$ in the first month and then 12,99$/monthly (WW2ol) all further addons were/are free and the account never expires, that's consumer friendly policy imho.
With WoW I'm not sure yet, the game is quite expensive considering most haven't had a trial so are basically paying 45$ in order to test it and judge if they actually like it. Furthermore it also costs 12,99$ but then again BG seems to be free and not an expensive expansion pack which I find reasonable by Blizzard. So if I do like the game I think it's okay, but they should offer a free trial or give out more guest passes.
What I don't like at all are games that charge 45bucks for the game, then monthly fees, followed by a dozen expensive expansion packs (you know the ones I mean), I'd never play those.
Oh and by the way, I won't pay more for my monthly MMORPG, 13-15$ is the limit and I'd appreciate it if companies were to make games cheaper and their monthly costs lower but that's just wishful thinking really.

Now I have been searching for a WoW account that has been canceled and will never be used again to play on, please dont take offense to this I am just trying to get a taste of what WoW is like, so if you have a canceled account I would be more than happy if you gave it to me, my friend will let me borrow his install discs, thanks in advance!

It's not that bad. The only game I've really ever had issues paying for was Phantasy Star Online (it was absurd to pay a monthly fee for cheaters and neglected servers).
