i suspect people will get out more, become more active in their lives, and i'm sure there'll be a bit less obesity. not that too much video gaming is the main cause. however, sitting around all day and doing nothing but playing games can't be any good, phyiscally.

If there are no games, maybe people will find another way to make their stress go away, basically people play games because they want to release the stress that they are getting from work, personal problems, from other people etc. Maybe they will engage themselves more to physical activities because there are no games anymore. If that will happen, definetly the sales of computers will really drop becuase people buy computers not really for working or researching but because they use it for playing games.

If that will happen then this is the perfect time the word boredom will manifest. Many people have spend their life playing games. Some of them barely sleep during weekends just to make sure they level up during the weekends, that is if there are no more games, you almost killed many people.

This will be the end of the world... hehehe just kidding... I think more recreation for people, socialization from outgoing activities will be up and going. Home chores from children will be done quickly, books will sell a lot and more people will read books and magazines. People will find a way to releave stress, for my part I'll just mawn the lawn.

I honestly think us gamers would just be watching TV in its place because we wouldn't know any better.

If you're just talking video games I'd be playing D&D

these days there's hardly anything worth watching on television. i'd join for all-nighters of d&d, though!

Folks would still be addicted to TV, drugs, food, and the internet. They would also just do other leisure activities as there are plenty of them such as read books. In fact, I think book reading would increase a lot as the people who play role playing games for immersion in another universe and the story would be looking to books to fulfill this. I actually know a guy that gets a little bashful whenever you ask him what video games he likes, because people assume he does because he is a huge dungeons and dragons nerd and scifi nerd... But he actually just sticks to pen 'n paper games and books and doesn't play video games. hehe.

It will be a big disaster, most people will turn their attention in doing other things, but the thing is, some people might decide to take drugs or any other bad stuffs to make them busy or for burning extra time. I guess it will be alarming if most if not all people will result in doing this as a substitute in playing games.

Sorry to say but come on man. "What if's" are usualyl good discussions but why just video games, why would the government randomly decide to ban video games or I can't see a random crazy collapse of the video games industry. Pehaps you should ask what would YOU do if you could never play video games ever again.

We're all Geniuses. Most of us just don't know it.

If there's no game at all life will be boring. Games makes me feel great. after work this was my routin to play after work to loose some stress from work. games can be exciting than life. becAUSE IN GAMES you can be good what ever you want to be but in real life how hard you try. life sucks.

If there are no games at all, the world would be at chaos. Imagine the kids running around, playing everything, without the games distracting them the parents of those children will not have a timeout or a break and would die a little inside.
