I just received a charge on my check card for 14.99 which is the subscription price of Age of Conan. I do not play age of Conan. I have not in quite some time. I wrote a complaint to funcom and I am thinking about calling my bank today. Does anyone have any other solutions for a quick resolution of something like this?

Call your bank or credit card company and say it is an erroneous charge. They should charge it back.

Your bank will most likely want you to ask Funcom for a refund before they begin a chargeback.
Did you by any chance take part in a "10 days free" promotion for AoC recently?
I'd log into your account at Funcom's account page and double check what subscription is active. Then, email them and tell them about the charge, giving date and amount, to let them know you have not re-subscribed, nor authorized the charge. Hopefully that is all you would need to do to get it reversed.
Calling your bank to initiate a chargeback is the ultimate recourse, but it will take weeks while they go through the procedure of contacting Funcom, allowing them 2-3 weeks to respond, then processing the chargeback, only if they deem it was indeed unauthorized.
Why of all places would you post here on these forums about it? ecspecially in the main forums? Doesent smell right to me. You could have easily contacted them directly by email thru there website to get it resolved. Im playing Rise of the Godslayer picked it up for 10$ really enjoying the game so far for being a themepark one of the most mature themed mmos ive had the pleasure to play. I love the fatalitys, graphics and combos and got in a guild within the first few minutes of joining on one of the pvp servers. Maybe you should start playing again. Also the voice acting and story at the beginning is top notch.
I have no problem with the game. It is not what I choose to play. some do choose to play. cool
I ask here because I value the previous experiences of my fellow gamers. I emailed funcom directly and am told they don't refund game time. I have never had this happen before so I sought advice in the most neutral experienced place I could.
