Looking for a game

Hey I've just left SWG because of trash that went on there. I cant decide on WOW or GW so could someone tell me about the communities on those games & is there anyone out there that would help someone that would be new to the game. I would give you my full support in the game & help you for as long as I play it I promise.

    the communites on WoW are awesome cuz the people pay and so they want to play not **** around... pretty good community... but it also depends what faction/server/race you are (race i mean game race)

    Main character in Pure Pwnage, Jeremy as himself and Teh Pwnerer...

    Depends on what you want. Guild Wars is more of a Solo/Small Party game and is not really much of a MMORPG. You get some skills, you can level (but only to 20), you can get new armor and weapons, you can dye them different colors, and you ONLY see other players inside cities. When you're in the game world you're by yourself, or with your small party is all.

    World of Warcraft is a typical MMORPG like the others, but of course set in the WarCraft setting.

    The community on Guild Wars isnt that impressive because since it is free most peoiple just want to get on and mess around, and since it is so much smaller it is not that fun. I would reccommend World of Warcraft. The community is much better and you can get involvfed and stay involved for much longer.

    Well goodluck with the search.i was thinkin of another game to recommend but i have yet to try it out myself.

    I Would have to tell you to go with WoW simply because of the fact that it has more things you can do in it such as instances and when Battle Grounds comes out O boy watch out....

    roflburger. First off the community in WoW is TERRIBLE. I dont even read the official forums anymore becuase its just "I found a bug that needs to be fixed" response " STFU nerd! get a life and dont find bugs!!!111!!1." Just go check it out yourself. In game the community is a bit better on hidden servers that arent massacred by the general populace. So if you get a good one then stick with that, but dont bother trying to go to the forums.

    so true. the server i am on can be mixed at times. some times its bad sometimes its good. but i joined a guild were its all good ^_^

    I second that. WoW's community is one of the worst communities I've ever run into in an online RPG. It was wonderful for the first month or so, but quickly went downhill.
