framerate issues swept under the table??

Well all the framerate issues and horrible engine threads have been deleted from the official site. Just unbelievable!! They won't even acknowledge the game has major issues , they delete threads showing issues and move along.
I wish there would be some sort of formal interview done by some site about this, and why the gmae lags so bad on gaming rigs. But they will not address it at all.

That is because the "framerate issues and horrible engine" issues are not major issues. I have seen these threads, and most of them are whiners bawwing that they didn't get into closed beta. These people apparently think that it is such a big deal that they didn't get in that they have taken it upon themselves to say bad things about the game and either make stuff up or embellish the truth.
From my experience, the game runs fine. Framerate issues are not a problem for me, and although it drops in the city (which is to be expected) or during boss fights when flasy effects come into play. Even then, there are easy fixes, so it is not an issue at all. As for engine issues, one of the best ones I have seen in any PWI game, so no issue there.
The only part of your post I agree with is the end. "What an awesome company!" Indeed it is, no sarcasm included.

It's not about whining at all, it's stating and showing facts. The game engine is abysmal with zero optimization for gaming rigs. This is what was complained about it has nothing to do with not getting into the game at all. You can not run this game maxed with forced AA on gaming rigs without dipping into 12-18 fps in harbor city.
And no you are not to expect this in a crowded area, I expect them to learn how to program better. I can name countless games with thousnd playing in one area, yet um zero lag. It's the game, stop trying to sell it being good, it's not! And you must have an older system as newer ones can not run this game well, and that is a major issue!
Thank you for proving my point. Indeed, stating and showing facts is important, but facts hinge on one thing: repeatability. If it is not repeatable, it is not a fact. These engine and framerate issues have not been repeated in my or numerous other experiences. Problems that are mentioned by these whiners are pretty much absent in the aforementioned experiences. Also, you have just ruined your argument by stating that there is "zero optimization for gaming rigs". Optimization for smoother gameplay is present on the game launcher.

I've played the game and there are a ton of framerate issues. Are you sure you have played it running maxed settings as well? Don't be so quick to bash another who point out the flaws in the game if you can't back it up yourself.
I look forward to seeing syklonis's screenshots to see what he's getting. As I'm on a pretty decent rig myself, so I want to see if we compare at all!
Well there is your problem right there. Your computer can't handle it max settings. Mine can't, and I know it, so I don't set it to max settings, but because of that I don't have framerate issues. Looks like the problem isn't the game but you and your computer. Something tells me the same goes for sykonis. That explans a lot about his argument and why it is full of holes. Thank you.

The problem is, no ones computer can handle the game at maxed settings genious! The engine has horrible issues, this has always been the issue.
I can not believe you are on here wasting your time saying there are no issues when you aren't even playing the game on maxed settings. Why the "F" would you have issues. It's like saying look I can run crysis at 60 fps playing at 800X600 with low res textures, weeeeeeee!!! This is and was never about playing on lower settings! It was always about playing full maxed settings with forced AA and showing how the game chugs which it shouldn't!!!

Kinda. Its noisy and unrestrained, but like a baby crying. I think if someone were to say "bawling" in baby speak, it would sound like "bawwing".

Well, if "nobody" can run the game on max settings, then don't even try! If it is obvious that the game can't be run on certain settings, run it on lower settings. If issues persist on the lowest settings, then, and only then, is it a major issue, and even then, it is more likely your computer can't handle the game. Frankly, its common sense to run a game at the settings your computer can handle. What you have described is not an issue with the game, but with the reasoning and logic center of your brain.
My computer can run it just fine at minimum settings, and even at settings just above that. Settings in the middle are where I get framerate issues, but only because my computer doesn't have the kind of graphics chips that can process them fluidly. Remember, before you go wasting everyone's time with grandoise complaints about how "crappy the game engine and framerate issue is because you can't run it at max settings", ask yourself one question, "Do I have these same issues at lower settings?"
Again, its common sense. Pick some up before you troll, and maybe you will save yourself some dignity.

You have zero clue on the issues with the Angelica engine being used at all. And not once understand why I like others are so outpsoken about the issues with the game. Since we dont have to turn down our graphics in ANY other game we play and it isn't starting with Forsaken World!! OF COURSE YOU wont have issues with a game when you turn down your settings genious! No one will in any game playing on lower settings thats not the issue!!!!!!!!
The issues are playing the game how its meant to look, with all the bells and whistles-graphics at max. You are an absolute moron to come on here and say I have no issues at all when you run the game on medium settings. Do yourself a favor, save some money and buy a gaming rig and play the game at maxed settings for once and then see oh my god he's right, the game is poorly optimized and needs more developement time by the developers.

I have no issues running other games at maxed settings at all except for Forsaken World. Why is that??? Is their game just so graphically intense it won't run on todays systems, NO! It's the engine, poorly optimized to run on gaming rigs. Sorry you cant afford a gaming rig to understand the issues at hand. Maybe when you can you will see it runs like crap. I like syklonis will not turn down graphics to play a game when I have no reason to at all!

Listen to yourself. A person with a computer that is not as powerful as yours is having a better time playing a game. You know what that says? It says that you are a whiner who thinks the game code needs a complete rewrite if you experience the slightest bit of lag. Ever think for once that graphics aren't all that there is to the game? So what if you can't play the game on max settings? I own an XBox 360 with a TV that doesn't support HD, but that doesn't impact my gaming experience, because I know that graphics aren't anything. All your whining about "how you can play other games on max settings, but not FW" has made you oblivious to the fact that you can solve your issues by just turning down the graphics. Did you even TRY to lower the graphics before you complained?

At least TRY to turn your graphics down before complaining. You could have avoided all of this embarrasment.
Also, I support the game because it works. If I can play this on a 5 year old laptop, you should have no problem. All you have to do is use your brain and think logically, "If I can't run the game on max settings, then I must run it on lowered settings." That sir, is logic, plain and simple, which is more than I can say for you and your argument.

I wanted to play the game with 8 realms and a lower server lag just to find out if the game is smooth enough.
I have lowered the setings long back but yet if i play for quite some time i still have lag and skill locks.
Now that 23rd February phase 4 has begun there was no realms but the same single server.
I see that this phase 4 with a level cap to 60, seems like a waste of time.
I still have huge issues with playing the game as because the game is not at all smooth.
This phase 4 seems like a waste of time now.
As goes the frame rate issues, I still think there is too many bugs or something very wrong as the game is difficult to be played. I returned in phase 4 and found the same lack of smoothness and skill locks and hence will get again back in OB.

Um, phase 4 hasn't even started yet. We are still in the middle of phase 3. Phase 4 isn't supposed to start until about 3-4 pm pst

I am confident to reach that 60 mark in a month.
But alas a server wipe will make it better and the 8 realms part will make it better if the doors of FW is open to all those who wants to play.
