are there only 20 lvls in the game ?

and is it esey to lvl up to lvl 10  i am new and i need help

    Even though i don't play the game, yes there are a max of 20 lvl's and there is also an option that let's you start off at lvl 20 (only pvp).

    yes there are only 20 lvls in this game.....but trust me even though you get to lvl 20 there is an insane amount of stuff to do, and more than likely you wont be the greatest at PvP without practice even if you are at lvl 20.....and yes you can make a PvP only character that starts at lvl 20........like i said in your guild recruitment post, if you leveling is the most important thing to you in a game, this one isnt for you

    FOR GODS SAKE, LEVEL ISNT EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME

    its all about teamwork and skillz

    and plus, after lvl 20, theres guild battles, pvp, quests, etc,

    Like the post above, level isn't everything. I have two level 20's myself and I'm no way by any means "done" with either one of them. I have alot of skills and elite skills to get for both of them, plus there are still places I have to get them to such as the Underworld and the other place at the temple. In addition, I want to get some good weapons for them too like the Lightning bow and the Chaos Axe. So getting to 20 is just the tip of the iceberg.

    only level 20 , but your experience bar doesnt stop there ..

    and there are skill points , and a lot more stuff to deal with

    hey guys i am new and i under stand that there is more to the game but what ?

    i mean theres quests but that you can do in eny lvlv so whts the point

    you can get skill points but what do thy do and you get them even on the first lvl

    so when you are lvl 20 what happens next?

    do you just help pepol or go pvp but in that you can at the beginning be lvl 20 so whats the point plz help me i am confused.......

    Guildwars isnt about levelling... as various people above mentioned.
    its about teamwork and exploration and then ultimately pvp.
    but without following the rpg side of the game you wont have the skills to defeat someones level 5 pet ::::04::
    ive been playing the game for well over 100hours now and have alot of the north side of the map uncovered but im still interested and im still excited by the game and i cant wait to finally get into the hall of heroes and start whooping some american and korean butt ::::02::

    I had lvl20 by the time id reached the wilds which i think is pretty much the same as anyone else that took the time to bother walking about and explore.. forget about the levelling aspect and just enjoy the game.

    wow thanks man i understand now but i noticed that in other games the most inportant thing in thegame is leveling up so is this game a new generasion of mmo's?

    Sigh...Even once you get to lvl 20, I think the point of the game is to still go out and quest but have FUN. Personally I dont think you need to be leveling to have alot of fun while going on quests or PvP. So just remember, key word FUN, not LEVELING. ::::20::

    The world is big, but it's set up progressivly. You won't do much backtracking at all. The entire game is basically point A to point B. It's quite a long game.

    Tell me what name you use though, so I can avoid you in the future.

    Getting skills and equipment. There's a reason your xp bar continues to fill up after 20.

    But, admittedly, for some of us, exploring and PvP is more fun than leveling.

    thank you all for helping me if anyone of you want to stay in touch in the game please send me is player name and is time zone and email's so i want to ask something it sound to me like a cool game and i gating it in like a week so it would be cool but can you tell me is it esey to lvl up and i know it's not about lvl up and stuff like that.

    and do you have any cool misson that you can tip me about or help to get a guild it would be nice.

    poeple . let this losers play wow ... dont tell them anything ... gw doesnt need this kind of explanations .. im playing for 3 weeks , i can feel people coming in like rain ... its geting full ... :D

    Yep, people from my WoW guild are starting to come in by the droves now. I hit 20 with one of my guys a few days ago, but I still have TONS of skills I need to unlock, and a ton of places to go to still. And now that more of our guild is joining us we can actually start to try and get our Guild Hall. Can't wait to do guild vs guild battles!

    Since your the guys who asked all the questions ill sum it up for you's...

    In this game... only 20 lvls... the fun is all about getting skill, PvP, Exploring , Guild Warfare, Meeting people, and so on.... Sine there r only 20 lvls, For some people a game like WoW is more appriecated, but GW actually offers alot more. In my opinion, at the start, dont attack mobs just for lvling, do missions and you'll lvl up along with them.... also with a guild, try to meet all the people in the guild, or at least the leaders, get to know a few people in it, before joining, and also, don't be afraid to leave it aftawards... u'll probably find another guild who wants 4 new char's in it....

    Also keep in mind, this is only the first part of the game.  X-packs are being developed and I'm expecting that is where you get above lvl 20.  Thay may have new areas to explore, new features, etc.

    We haven't seen the whole game yet.  I can't wait for the news of the new stuff once NCSoft figures out what they want to do.  image

    Guild Wars is still an MMO.
