D2D was the best as of yesterday with the 20% off using the President's Day code, hailtothechief. D2D may still be the cheapest with many people on the rift forums linking a 15% link in their signatures, not sure what they get out of it but you would get the digital CE for 50 bucks.
I would go off Steam Cause its 49.99 off steam for regular and 59.99 for the other version
And they save it on your steam account so you can download anytime and you have very easy acess to your Cd Code.

Actually same price as the Trion site but I went off steam too just cause its convinent. Easy to download anywhere as you said and I never have to worry about losing it or the CDKey.
Honestly though - it doesn't REALLY matter... I think steam offers some collectors pet as a perk as well - but those things dont interest me all that much
gooo look on ebay. i bought my Rift CE for $35 using buy it now and got the key in about 30 mins. activated and everything went fine. feedback for that person is good too. i see other people had successful activations.
i'd avoid D2D unless you like having games 'expire' after purchasing.
Steam is pretty easy for the convenience part.
Expire? Not sure what you mean there, I still have games on there from fFeb of 2005 that still have no expiration date on them. Even my games that I got with hitpoints when they offered that do nto expire. Steam on the other hand, I have seen people get hacked and lose it all. Nothing still beats the good old box game but those are getting harder and harder to find, hell my local best buy didn't even have a rift pre order box in store.

The D2D code still works today, just used it, so D2D still has the cheapest deal (20% at 50 bucks is about 10 dollars).
