yuck...just imo.
These events are usually a hoot. Loved this game..and really wanted to continue support. However....when I special order a game for a reason..like exclusive mounts or what not...I expect them to remain exclusive. After all..it's the reason I order the expansion froma particular store to begin with. Case in point..the prairie chicken mount...silly..i know . It went on sale in the store..now anyone can buy one ( Again..why would they...but that's not my point). I have no problem with cash shops for any reason except if they sell "WIN"..which the FE store does not..or if they start selling what was suppose to be exclusive (non-game breaking) items. I recommend anyone try this game because it is pretty cool...but I am finding it hard to re-sub for the previously stated reasons.
Ugh, I hate Mardi Gras. Okay, I don't actually hate Mardi Gras, but it's aggravating that a nice chunk of the streets get closed during parade season.

This game is seriously awesome...just sucks that I am addicted to RIFT right now.
Unfortunately every pretty much every MMO I know that employed a cash shop has done this.
Eclusive does no longer have any meaning. It's eclusive for specific amount of time. After that it just ends up on the Cash Shop.
With FE however, I understand it, as they are just struggling for money. And so far they have kept their worth. It's mostly unnecessary fluff on the Shop. So I am not bothered by it.
Most stuff that has effect, like the Storage expansions, are available ingame via Vet rewards or via crafting. So again. No big deal.
You're right. I just became a bit bratty. I'm playing RIFT and XSYON (kinda) now. After I made my post...the act of the post itself kind of exorcised the disgust I had for the whole affair and I'm seriously eyeing a one year sub ...lol... Just to keep up support and have it taken care of whenever I want to visit it's post -apocalyptic splendor again. Now that I think about it..I should do Earthrise when it releases....then I will have three post-apocalypse themed mmos to play...Earthrise, Fallen Earth and Xsyon.

UM..lol. No.. I haven't even beta'd Earthrise and only know some stuff from the forums. If it's really that bad I can wait. I already have Xsyon ( a game I really like.... even in it's rough moments) which will take some ironing out still.
Mardi Gras, So annoying that you just want to abondon the game...
I hear you on that one. So far they are not selling my pre-order horse. . fingers crossed.

I got the horse also and still use it with my 50 when I got FE active. I really really hope they never sell or give out the horse again
I feel your pain on the chicken Barcrow, I hate when games ruin what was supposed to be an exclusive item. It is just bad form.
