So far, I'm not sure if my code registered or not. What a messy registration setup!

That's the understatement of the century. Also a little odd that it's just Europe and not anywhere else. Hell the registration process doesn't even appear to be functional.

I've registered, used the key and said i had ma acc activated for beta. DL the client now to test it.
Tried downloading the client.... stopped at 0 seconds remaining and wouldn't finish the download. Twice. o.O
Do you have to be from europe to play in this? Can somebody from the usa particpate in this beta?
You can play while in america the registration is just all whack. I had a hard time also. The key should grant you instant access.
After you created your account and registered your key go change your password, it seemed to be a "trick" that was posted before and it worked for me.

Yea I'm really confused right now. I registered my key and then it sent me to some weird site, and I don't even know how to login to change my passsword or anything like that, or how to access the forums.
I didn't have problems until I tried to play the game....I tried to log in, it said my password was incorrect, my client crashed and I haven't been able to open the game since then. Anyone else have this problem? =/
EDIT (can't figure out how to edit my original): I finally got back in, it just had me make some kind of "secondary password" and then the game crashed again....I have a gaming PC so I know my rig isn't the issue, anyone else's game crashing constantly? I can't even get to character creation.....
Yes.
Hit ctrl+alt+del and open up the task manager, and under processes click on Mythos and end it, then youll be able to boot the game again.
Then go to the account page and change your password, your password isnt wrong, theres just some issue (i have no idea what) so just go change your password.
At the mythos registration page click on the Community tab at the top right and then account management. That should get you going.
Take note of your secondary password which you create after logging into the game.

Ah now I figured it out. I finally was able to login to the mythos site. I changed my password but haven't got the game downloaded yet, so ill try it when its done and see if it works.

Well I didn't have to change my password, but the fourth time I ran it I got the game working....Although the game seems to be rather broken. Quest text is terrible and almost unreadable. I didn't realize this game was in another language to begin with, it looks like they didn't even try to translate it into English....Lol. For some quests there are actually boxes replacing letters, so you can't actually find out what the quest is wanting you to do. =P
LOL - I registered with the first bit - then it started with STEP 1. Beta Registration - and will not accept my PW! So basically I cannot even get through Step1 - what a shambles. I have no idea why the STUPID thing will not accept the PW when it IS correct - does it want me to do a diff PW to the one i did b4? I see nothing to click to say Forgotten PW and see just what PW they THINK it should be! This is Ridiculous!

Are REDANA even Capabal of running a game? I HAVE Registered with them - wanted to contact them because something does not work - and they want me to Log in AGAIN! - so i go to Login again and guess what? YES - they do not recognise the PW the second time round - but they did a few minutes ago! If this is how it is to even Try to do Anything on their site - then I DREAD to see how the Beta will go!

I never thought I'd be playing be this game again! For the most part everything is the same as before, except for the HORRIBLE "cinematic" the new company created and the horrible, horrible engrish.
Still, it feels and plays much like the old Mythos. Even the skill trees are the same...
Sorry for all the hassles getting the key to work. Unfortunately we just hand out the keys and give the instructions the client provides. Hopefully Frogster can get this working better or their support can assist you.

The game is no where near as polished as it was when Flagship left it. The final beta days with Flagship turned the game into almost an MMO with large open areas and people running around everywhere. The maps would drop all the time and you could group up with friends to go through the dungeons.
You can still group up but what you have now is bad Engrish, unbalanced, much more challenging, broken quests, broken crafting, etc. With all that said, the game is still a lot of fun, you just have to skip over the broken stuff and enjoy the game for what it is. I do miss Flagship working on this, Torchlight 2 and Torchlight MMO will be the superior games. It is hard to believe we waited this long to play Mythos and the game is in worst shape then when Flagship gave it up. Lets hope all of us beta testers do our jobs and the people developing it fix the bugs before release.
Anyone figure out how to send a bug report in game?
