griefing how can be done ?

in Rift

i dint play Rift and i dont plan to play soon but i heard when a rift open is based on the players on that area.

So if i go for lvl 50 the fastest way i can when you this toon to go on low lvl area and make stronger rifts open so this Rifts mobs can grief the low lvl players

can this be done ? does the lvl 50 need to interact? can be done i stay AFK in a spot ?

    No.

     

    The Rift/Invasion levels are based on the zone they are in.

    The difficulty of the Rift is determined by how many people are in that area.

    If there was only 5 people, it would be a minor rift with probably no elites.

    If there was 30 people it would be a minor/major rift with pretty much all elite mobs.

    Actually an unpopulated area won't even have rifts. Just tears.

    Yes but he was asking how the difficulty of the Rift would be if he stayed in a low level area at level 50.

    So he could of still opened the Rift and had it be far too difficult with no one around

    since the game dont have real pvp one is loocking at alternatives ways to grief

    This is among the few themepark-style MMOs that tries to promote open world PvP as opposed to shove you into an instance.

    True PvP compared to what? Don't tell me full loot. Full loot mathematically leads to zero risk, you either have crap you don't care to lose or you are travelling in such a big horde you eliminate the opposition's chance to win.
