I want to play Rift but I'm unsure on wether my computer would be good enough. I don't need to play at Ultra or anything like that, I just would be happy medium-ish and with a decent frame rate. I can't really tell because I haven't played it so I was hoping some of you Beta testers out there could give me a heads up before I buy this game.
Here's what I got:
Windows Vista
3.5 GB of RAM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.3 ghz Dual Core
Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 1 GB
Thanks in advance.

The short answer is yes , you should run Rift without problems ,
About vista if its the 32 bit version , the 3.5 gb ram isn´t used vista 32 bits only use maximum of 3 gb ram
If its the 64 bits version it uses 3gb +.
Anyway you shouldn´t have problems with higher details grapics , Just don´t push it too much unless you sure your powersupply is good enough .
One of the most oversight thing looked by gamers and computer novice , your graphic card is state of the art .
But your powersupply in your box may not be so powerfull
Thanks, I have the 32bit version so that silly .5 means nil. lol
I made sure to get a beefy power supply when I bought the video card just to make sure that I wouldn't have any issues. My sister burned hers out that way on accident, so I learned from that. I'm pretty excited about this game so its good to know that I can play it!=)
