Will my card handle rift well?

in Rift

Looking at getting Rift and I am totally computer illiterate, I am not sure how well my graphics card will go. Rest of my rig is fine but I want to be able to play rift on pretty high settings without too many issues. 

I have a XFX Radeon HD 5670.

    The Radeon in the minimum spec is a 6-year old 128 Meg PCI card, so you should be more than fine with that card which is what... only a year old? Shouldn't have any provblems at all.

    There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

    It should be able to run it, yes.

    I am not sure about at which setting however. Medium fine but any more and we need a comment from someone with the same card and running Rift on it.

    it will run RIFT just fine on high settings and a bit droped terrain distance for higher framerates. Tho frame rates will certanly drop when you have 100 NPCs plus 100 players on screan in invasions but will be far from unplayable.

    Game is very well optimized and graphics are not terrible sophisticated tho nice looking :)
