Question about PvE vs: PvP

I usually play on PvP servers just to have the option of playing PvP when I want.  Most of the time I PvE anyway but I like PvP to always be there if I am interested.  I joined a PvE server for RIFT becuase I was worried I would always get ganked and annoyed.  People that are playing on a PvP server, does this happen often?  I want to come back to a PvP server, but don't want to constantly be camped or hunted.   Is this happening?

    I don't think you start seeing World PvP until after level 20. Probably around level 23 or so. It doesn't become prevalent until around level 30. This is 'right now'. It could change in a month or two when a lot of the population has high level or max level characters.

    Okay, perect.  I can't stand getting a toon to a normal level and constantly being ganked.  I guess I will role one on a PvP server and start over.  I want to see how it will go.. Wonder if the Necromancer will be a good class to start for a PvP server.. Lots and lots of dots...
