Is there some sort of trial?

Hi. I havnt played the game for about a year, however i used to love it and im going to resubscribe asap. But my friend also played for about 5 days just before i quit and then he quit. He hated the game, but i think this was partly my fault as when he played we never actually did anything fun, because at that time i was getting rather bored of the game. However im trying to tempt him to play, he already has the game but doesnt want to have to pay £10 to find out he doesnt like it. So basically i wanna know if there are any free trials available? Or maybe something like what they did before when old players could return for free for 5 days or something?

    Looking through my old PC zone demos i have found an unused 14 day free trial from november 2004. As it is unused i should still be able to use that right?

    It appears i can't use that free trial. Had to be used on or before the 31st November 2004. Shoot! Still looking for one, i dont think there is one at the moment though.

    There is a trial on http://www.fileplanet.com/ I think.  It's a ten day trial.image

    No, that trial at fileplanet is inactive now i think it says.

    Its inactive. You need an activation code and they are not giving them out at the moment.

    There is a free trial about every 6 months or so.

    Ah blah!  Well, what's the harm in just trying it anyway?  If you don't like it, you're only out $15, which is pretty much on par with going to see a movie you ended up not enjoying.  If you do end up liking it, that's a month of fun for the price of one movie showing.

    I keep seeing the "Total Experience" for $30.  How can I get into SWG for $15?

    $15 is the monthly fee, and i already own a copy of the game so i dont need to purchase it again.

    And sometimes you can get SWG (the old game, no expansions)  for 15 bucks on ebay.

    I'm still surprised here in UK you can buy the Total Experience game on cd for £14.99 including p&p, and the subscription is only £9. Also SOE sell the download for £17 to UK customers quite odd.
