    I have a retail collectors ed., to be recuited do I have to download online or can I enter the code after installation and updates?

    I think you just need to click the link in the email, then it'll probably make you set up a subscription plan after that.

     

    Here's what their official site says:


    • Players may recruit new players or invite back former players that have been gone for more than sixty (60) days.

    • New recruits will need to use the link in their invitation email to create their Recruit-A-Friend free trial.

    • Recruitment invites can be recalled at anytime, and expire after 30 days.

    • Program open to purchasers of the retail game only, and is not available to players in the free trial.

    Did they ever fix the imbalance between a fresh 40 and a Max ranked 40?

    They are working on it.  They have unblocked renown gains across all levels (renown rank up to double your career level) so its theoretically possible to hit 40 at renown rank 78.  They have also changed the requirements for the rvr armor sets and added an stop gap set 'worn sovereign' to make new players more competitive as they reach the level cap.

    Heh.. Thats what I've been trying to do. Currently at 35/54. Trying to hit 60 renown before 40 so I only have three ranks or so before I can begin with the uber sexy worn sovereign. :D
