All Points Bulletin: Closed Beta Update

The APB Reloaded blog has been updated with a bit of information coming out of the closed beta. The first round of 2500 beta invites went out a day or two ago with players able to access the game immediately. The update includes information about a few bugs the team has found including one where a PMG-28 blowing up vehicles with a single shot.
We have a few issues to deal with right away (and we will hopefully address these today):
The PMG-28 gun accidentally blows up any vehicle you point it at pretty much right away (ooops, I think Zak went on a wild design spreed and forgot to "normalize" the gun when he was done having wild fun), Closed Beta Forum access has a bug (so CB testers cannot post there) and we have seen a world-server crash that happens every few hours that needs to be sorted out. Interesting though, the Action Districts all have stayed stable, and the issue is in the user management server.

and yet I haven't even downloaded the game, whereas most of you would be playing it by now if you did have it

wow, thsi sucks. i got a beta key, and someone stole it from me
you seem confused there were indeed codes they sent out but thats to verify if the ppl that applied to beta. they had sent codes to Everyone that so they could sign up to the site. but the actual beta invites have only started happening.
