Hey, let's all get some ratings on this game we love so much. So far only 3 of us fans have given our reviews. Let's try to hit the 20 reviews so the ratings show up on this site for this game. Thanks, and enjoy.

I just posted my review. I'm very excited with this game so far! I'm so glad I downloaded it and gave it a shot

Alright, now we have 6 total ratings. 14 more. Not bad though since at the beginning of the day there were only 3. Hope we get 14 more ratings so this game can have a place here.
Can you post the review link please?
Hi, Norton . . . try going to game list, click on uncharted waters then click on ratings. Thanks. Let me know if that doesn't work.
This might help . . . http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/555/view/ratings
12 more people.
Hey count me in!
Come on people, 11 more for a rating. The more this game gets included into forums like these, the better the game could get. There's already tons of new players joining from word of mouth, and the banner advertisements. Lets get some serious reviews and information out there.
Almost there, just 9 more!
Just one more needed!
Uh-huh, my ranking is too low on this site, never mind the thousands of words I've posted here over the years.
For that matter, I don't think you would like my honest opinion of the current state of the game.
Well, in any case, we did it. I gave very low points on customer service, but is free to play after all. Nice to see this game finally have some ratings and a score.
Hi guys!
I agree the UWO community is a bit terrible now but according to other players it seems the POTBS community is much worst (source from players who transferred game)
I'm not trying to change your mind about what you feel about the game I'm here to gather opinions and try and help fix the problems the game is currently suffering
I am a GA my IGN is "Aika"
any input would be nice someone can create a new thread for this since this is already off topic. and I will try and relay the information to the GMs of UWO
since the UWO forums are currently not a favorable place to have a proper discussion and it also seems that everyone cannot access it due to technical issues something about (Error to Origin) problem
any questions and suggestions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them a GA is only a title and I am an ordinary player too I can only relay information to the GMs and not implement them
Like this game alot so far
I like the game very much but it still has some major problems in my opinion.
1: UI. I have a mouse and keyboard. Using the keyboard to maneouvre at sea is impossible. I hate all the mouse clicking i have to do just to change direction. Also, the lack of ability to customise skills to keyboard shortcuts is devastating. There should also be a Lock Camera option for traveling and for battles: in travelling, the camera auto kites and in battles the camera auto centres on target.
2: Auction House. There isn't 1. I am wasting so much time just sitting around trying to sell my stuff when i should be able to just drop it off at a set price and let the consumers consume.
3: Quests. 1 at a time? really? What bullshit. Why can't i deliver a letter AND establish a trade route to the same city for two different mediators? Why can't I go to that city and get another quest back to the 1st city?
4: Quest tracker: sometimes the quests are just too vague on where i am meant to go. It would be nice to have a quest tracker that shows where i am meant to go on the map or who i am meant to talk too.
5: Crew. Where are they? I have an empty ghost ship. even the Melee battles are just some swirls over my ship. If i'm not doing 'real' melee i should at least get to watch my crew do battle.
More later.
I agree the UI could use some of those improvements, although i sometimes like just using one hand and relaxing a bit. (don't read into that incorrectly, ahem.) As far as the auction house goes, I would love to see one. But there are the company shops. Company shops are where players post a lot of their items to be sold like a broker system in everquest2. When a company reaches a certain level, they can get their own building in the city where they have their own npc clerks who sell their items for them.
Players are mixed about the many quests at one time thing. This is a different type of game, and is more like a sandbox, so questing is not at all the most important thing to do. There are the storylines which give the country identity and plot to quest through while you do questing from mediators or in school. Also, while you're doing those things, you can pick up your own quests, errands for other players, (make sure they pay you) raise shipwrecks for treasure, (or assist others in doing so) follow maps to find historical treasures on land, or art antiques, ect. I currently have like 13 maps which are like quests but with much better rewards than the mediators give. Plus I have the storyline, and still have some advanced school general exercises. I usually have one large goal, followed by a few sub goals to accomplish on the way. This game is just different overall in that regard.
The quest tracker can be conveinent when you're in a hurry. But for me, I enjoy following vague directions, and looking up google maps to find out where Bergen is in relation to the North Sea. As far as quest tracker for land quests, there are skills you can learn and rank up that help you do that. So quest tracker would not be fair to players who build a character specializing in finding places and searching for clues. Quest tracker would not work at all in this game.
The crew and overall combat graphics (especially land) could be better for sure, but not sure how they might do it with a business model in mind. I'm not a business person nor a programmer so couldn't say how easy or hard it would be. But seeing a crew would be awesome.
