There's PLENTY of information on the website!! Please go to the FAQ page. And if there is something that you need to see that's not there, just ask and I'll have it added.
Also, we released new screen shots of a few other classes yesterday. Check the MEDIA page.
The goal for this game is to make it as simple and straightforward as possible, without dumbing it down to be like the other crop of F2P fps games cropping up all over the place. They're rubbish.
If you want a definite shoe-in for the Beta (starting sometime early in Q3/2011), be sure to follow the game on Twitter as well as on the Facebook page. The tabs for each one are on the game's website above.
And no, it's not a Planetside clone. Sure it draws inspiration from a lot of games - including my own very hardcore All Aspect Warfare, but a clone it is not. That's just crazy talk. If I set out to make a Planetside clone, then I've already failed because, FYI, that game didn't do well at all.

Lets hope this one does better and has less drama than Alganon.
Do us all a favor and post or submit to the site a detailed write up on what this game plans to accomplish and how gameplay will be.
At first glance it looked like some king of RPG/RTS game, or perhaps a FPS.
All the information you need is on the game's website.

what engine are you using for it and how many players can feasibly interact in the same area at once? I only thumbed through the site, so maybe I missed them, but neither of those topics really jumped out at me.
I'm intrested in the engine because that can be quite telling on how the gameplay will turn out.
(I.E. the unreal engine my look nice but playing online with it will generally result in gameplay hell if you got a bad ping)
and the # of players that can be in the same area is also another critical point because no matter how epic the back story and environments, if the actual combat is 5v5 (or 10v10 at best) fighting each other in a closet sized zone ....
p.s. I know that it's going to be quite a bit more than 5v5 in a closet, I'm not trying to accuse you of that, I'm just interested in HOW large scale things will be (I threw out the 10v10 "epic" battles as a dig at Global Agenda and Hi-Rez's failure to live up to their promise to code in actual large scale battles).
The game is built on a brand new engine that also includes some modules from my previous game engines.
The game is open world and has no instancing whatsover. So there is no "closet" style gaming.
All your questions are already answered in the extensive FAQ on the site. If there is anything in there that is not clear or you have a question not already addressed, please feel free to ask.
We also released some brand new shots at GDC. You can see them at the game's website as well.
