Yeah, it was posted as a leak picture in August, that is all I know about it so in best case it is still 6 months old, it might be older and it might not really be a leak at all... But it was what I could find.

There have been quite a few leaked videos and screen shots,  all of which are pretty easy to find if you know where to look, and the videos show a lot of the the starting area quests, classes, and abilities that you don't see in the demos.  I've watched them more than a few times.

Oh, Crow. Maybe I shouldn't have linked to the char creation one either, but it was posted in an unofficial newssite...

Fine, I stand correct. I have just missed the places the stuff is posted on. But usuaully you get a lot of leak threads here as well. Rifts had quite a few, I havn't seen a single one here.

Agreed. But it would be a pretty good launch date (unless GW2 also releases then). People are back to school and work after the summer, releasing a game in june isn't optimal since many people actually have better things to do in the summer.

The rainy autumn (here at least) makes it the perfect time of the year for gaming. :)

All I can say to that my friend, is that other sites are more prone to allow such leaks like Leakerz.net.   Unfortunately you cannot post that kind of information here.   image

I think your okay with that one, seeing as you can find it on google pictures and as they stated that the character creation isn't done and that is no longer relavent that it doesn't really say anything about the game.

Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

The only multiplayer is in battlegrounds, and raid instances.

The graphics seem dated. Especially when comparing to DS3...

I would like this kind of graphics in SW tor, instead of the wanna-be WoW cartoony to make the kids happy.

I never rant about games before they are released, but I just have a really bad feeling, and im 200% sure Guild Wars 2 will sweep SW Tor off the table like a bug. :

    I hope im wrong.

World Quest Arcs , World quests and Flashpoints are all multiplayer if you wish them to be.

Storyline is just as it says a solo experience from day one to MAx level, provides options when friends are not around.

GW2 is not in teh same league as SWTOR have fun in GW2...

I wish some people would actually bother trying to understand what a game is about before posting trash it gets a little dated and make the poster look stupid.

Nah release date still hasn´t been changed , this is old news , but truth is spring 2011 it still is just not march

So from 1st off april -june 2011, those are still the release date .

But money is on may since it coincides with SW aniversary .

Not in april though , well would be a funny joke to release it on the 1st of april ,  a totally reverse joke situation .

I really haven't and based on that I'm still saying 2012 at the earliest.

2012 seems a bit off, however I'm going to revise my initial take that was thanksgiving 2011 and dragi it up to around September 2011 as Blizzard seems to aim to launch Diablo by end of 2011. Considering you don't want to launch an MMO around Diablo III launch date.

For the people saying it will launch soon, I invite you to have a look at BioWare jobs opening. I might be totally wrong but it does not seems to point at a soon releaase.

You are aware I am sure that Bioware has other projects running and upcoming besides SWTOR? I am sure they even have projects as yet unannounced.  So, postings for job openings could mean almost anything and not mean a longer then expected release of SWTOR.

With that said, I would rather they release it when it is ready and not in any form of unfinished stated. Worst thing that could happen is for them to release it at the "expected" time and have a poor launch due to server problems or other untested and resolved issues.

That's jobs for Austin. Only TOR is being developped there.

Remember an MMO is never finished. Even when released you still need people like they are hiring to create new content and so on.

well fact is that no real release has been anounced I mean nor

    Lucas Arts

    Electronic Arts

    Bioware

Has said anything and when you ask swtor.com

    you get the old message

Everyone at BioWare and EA is working to ensure that Star Wars: The Old Republic is delivered at the quality level you expect from BioWare and Star Wars.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is expected to launch this year after the close of EA's fiscal 2011 (which ends March 31st, 2011). Information on the release date and pre-order programs will be released as it becomes available.

in other words get lost we wont answer your question now or ever , I mean do the customers had to be insulted like this .

We pay for Tor and the subscription and Sean Dallberg since august 2010 no news have been posted it seems to me this MMO will not be published ever if not the public flood the ceo of Bio Ware with mails that they finaly face the music and be honest with the public witch they are not until today

You've gotta be kidding me.... Okay so basicallly at the start of last year they told us that it would be released spring 2011, and thats been confirmed by EA stating that it would be released 2011, but after the calander year, meaning that they could easily announce the release date for the end of may, in three months time and still keep their original promise.

What exactly have we been paying since august 2010? and how exactly is a game that is currently well into beta testing with a release date announcement that could be only a week away, and will definetly be in the next 9 months..likely to never be relelased?

Eagerly awaiting the release of Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Veteran of far too MMO's to count: EQ,SWG, EQII,FFXI,EVE,COX,CO,LOTRO,MxO,WoW, etc etc.. I just love the genre.

What is this... I don't even

Hang on, I didn't realize 'we paid for ToR'.

SWTOR was shown off at PAX Prime last year and will be again (with more content, according to released details) at PAX East. Seems pretty real and not 'vapourware'.

I agree seems that a number of muppets who have payed nothing towards SWTOR seem to think they have a god given right and are owed something.

The four seasons start and end when

    • the earth is facing towards the sun

    • away from the sun

    • half way near the sun

Spring starts on the 21st of March and ends on the 21st of June.

Winter starts on the 23rd of December and ends on the 21st of February.

Summer starts on June 21st and ends on September 23 rd.

Fall /autumn starts on September 23rd and it ends on 23rd of December.

    I expect a release sometime June/July

First off all you ain´t a customer , you are a fan or a "potential" customer , you ain´t a customer yet .

So what did you pay , I can´t even preorder let alone pay ... so how can you suddenly be paying for TOR ?

Sorry but maybe the first person replied has a point , its back to reality please.

Second  Spring hasn´t started , like all previous posters said .

Amazon UK is taking pre orders and listing the release date as March 25th:-

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001O9AQT6/ref=s9_simh_gw_p63_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1YTN8KVKAXB7X8228GA1&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294

I thought about putting my order in but I will wait until the release date is confirmed.

    Currently playing:

EVE online (Ruining low sec one hotdrop at a time)

    Gravity Rush,
    Dishonoured: The Knife of Dunwall.

    (Waiting for) Metro: Last Light,
    Company of Heroes II.

I wouldn't put too much stock in that date Garkan.  I just went to five different retail sites and all of them listed a different date and three of them were taking "pre-orders".

I hate internet bloggers these days, most of them just spout BS for attention and buzz, just today I saw a blog on the Blackberry PlayBook tablet considering RIM's market chief quits and Microsoft being happy about it (wtf does Microsoft have anything to do with this?). Basically I ignore anything that doesn't come straight from the official manufacturer or dev company these days.
