What to do?

So what exactly is their to do? Without sounding to cliche, ofcourse the coolest thing to do is be a jedi. What other profesions are their, that are both interesting and fun, if not a jedi.

    Uh...you can do whatever you want. Right now, I'm working almost exclusively on my crafting (well, that and finding a ship repair kit...). Combat is fun as well. Jedi is a lot of work, but if thats your goal, go for it. Personally, I have no need to be a Jedi. I just want to be a master Artisan at the moment.

    Well I done many aspects in SWG I have so far personaly mastered Artisan,architect,Droid Eng,Shipwright,Commando,BH,TKA. Theres some good and bad aspects like most other game. The newest expansion RoTW have added alot of new content that has really brought life into the game with a ton of quests and space missions mixed ground/space.

    Jedi is extremly difficult to get at least time wise so its not something you can jump in and expect to have with in a couple months. You have to do 6 FS lines at 1 line open per village stage (this is the place that the npc that gives the quests are located) and I belive 1 cycle is once every 3 weeks.  Of course not only that but then you have to get the exp needed to fill up each of the boxes for the lines which takes a decent ammount of exp. All in all theres a ton of exp you have to get to get to jedi then even more to advance threw the jedi trees.

    One of the more popular classes right now seems to be BH as of late mixed with a few other professions. Carbines right now I belive is a good well rounded profession and seems fairly sturdy.

    Jedi is maybe the most mind-numbing boring profession you can choose.

    What you can do ? Some suggestions ...

    a) Become a server wide known crafter known for his/her top products ... where people remember after 2 years the "Troll" or "Dynod" gun that made them (in)famous. Or the "Aratech" Speederbike that was their companion across 11 planets.

    b) Become a famous mayor managing one of the best player cities on your server. A city that has been crafted almost entirely by a single architect - YOU. Which lasts 2+ years.

    c) Get a full set of Mandalorian armor, a jet pack, a Clone era carbine ... and speak to Boba about "THE JOB".

    d) Throw the BEST events and parties on your server , where Pex and the Event Team of SOE come to have fun, NOT only doing their job. With your own, self-composed songs and Windspire entertainment doing a 10 member ballet video as their next MMORPG movie project.

    e) Change a heavily contested planet to your favorite faction and keep it that way for 3 months, against heavy PvP opposition, constantly blowing up enemy bases to keep them from gaining a foothold.

    Well ... you will figure out about 100 more ways to entertain yourself.

    And when did exploring the galaxy become less than exciting?  I'd rather play chicken with a krayt to find out what's around that bend behind him than deal with a year and a half of excruciating grind just to waft a glowstick around any day.

    Adventure? Excitement? A Jedi Craves Not These Things

    (because he's too busy grinding another box in his force skills)
