Yeah been playing mmo's sence 2001 and have gotten tired of themepark mmo's.....but i do like building and stuff like that but don't really want to pvp.....i think i will just stick to minecraft
There is Wurm and ATitD. The former has divided PvP/PvE rulesets, and a fully-mutable world you can play with, the latter has no combat whatsoever, and is a community effort to improve the tech levels across the server. Both are basically world-builders.
I'd also suggest UO, or to a lesser extent, Haven and Hearth... but UO has totally past it's prime, and HnH has pretty brutal PKing based on culture-divide, not to mention that if you're like me - you'll be unlucky and die from boars/bears all the time while scouting and have to reroll (it's permadeath).

Did they change Haven and Hearth into permadeath for everything now? It used to be permadeath if you drown only...Bears and other critters could only incapacitate and injure you, but you used to be able to use leeches to cure yourself.
Wonder if they changed it...
Also, Tale in the desert does get kind of boring after a while since you basically just build pre-designed objects and some of them seem very far fetched too. Like building a loom out of grass and wood...wouldn't that take ages? takes 20 seconds in the game.
Wurm would be my best suggestion, but it requires a lot of patience. I played that game since early beta and it used to be much easier to play because you could macro certain actions and queue repetitive activities within the game. now, you actually have to be present and manually activate skills every two minutes or so
you do get a lot of freedom in Wurm though. building A LOT of stuff, mining, farming, fishing etc...also most animals are usually too strong to kill and PKing only exists on specific servers, so you basically can choose what you want to do.
As for Xsyon..since you're not playing it anymore, can I buy it off you cheaply?:) I was going to buy it, but cant commit myself to pay 40$ for it lol

Eve, without a doubt the best sandbox MMO out there at the moment and PVP is almost (but not completely) optional. Just don't do stupid shit and you'll never get ganked in highsec.

Second Life? Can't think of many others, it may be that the MMO genre just isn't right for you.
