I found this during a Google search:

Can anyone verify the date is correct?

    It is not correct.  The date has been moved up to March 9th.

    Since when is Tuesday a direction?

    And that is the actual launch day, and not just the start of beta?

    Yes it's true.  Launch was originally scheduled for 3/23 and was moved up to 3/9 a week or 2 ago.

    Yet it says Open Beta on the official site.

    So, which one is it, OB or official launch/release? Last time I checked, those are two different things.

    Yes, the site does say open beta on the 9th.

    My guess is OB is a series of stress tests, and the official launch could still be on the 23rd.

    Read on the official forums there will be no EU PvP server wtf.

    For PWI games launch and OB is the same (I know it's stupid).  There is no wipe or anything and everyone is was already allowed in the CBT 4 phase anyway whether they signed up or not (pretty much an OB).

    There will be a wipe, so essentially CBT4 was a stress test.

    For the vast majority of F2P MMOs OB == Release. The cash shop is open and there are no more wipes.

     

    Also. You don't want an EU pvp server, the pvp server has too low population as it is.

    Well, I guess it's safe to say that FW is now officially and fully launched - Even though the ob/launch date (same thing in this case) was March 9th.
