Are you willing to assemble your own computer from parts? You can get something much nicer that way. If you can plug in the various cords into the back of the machine, then you're tech savvy enough to plug in the various parts inside of the case. The motherboard and case will come with extremely detailed instructions.
Also, what parts do you need? Do you need just the case and everything that goes inside it, or do you also need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and surge protector?
As for Loke's link, no. Just no. Not unless your goal is to fry something. A Core i7 950 is overpriced and obsolete. The only distinguishing feature of the GeForce GTX 465 is its high power consumption. Six memory modules is simply ridiculous. The hard drive is going to be painfully slow. The power supply is sure to be cheap junk. Much of the point of getting a desktop is so that you can avoid various cut corners like that.
I run a GTX 460. With it I run Crysis 2 on all ultimate. DragonAge 2 on ultimate. AoC, EvE, STO and a good many others on ultimate settings. Zero issues with any game. And no, not SLI'd.
