Haven't played it personally, but here's a first impressions video:

    I generally like mmohut's reviews.

edit: Looks like interesting game though, after watching it myself.

I tried it out for about 2 hours. It's basically like all other PWI games, except better.

Graphics are excellent, and largely Western-style. Game runs incredibly smoothly. Combat animations and landscapes are excellent. The lore and game setting are good. Combat systems look interesting.

However, gameplay itself and player interaction with the environment are very simple; basically an MMO distilled to its essence.

If you want a well-made f2p 3D MMO with fast combat that's simple: this is probably it.

Never criticize a "sandbox" game on mmorpg.com. You will be drowned in a wave of kool-aid drinking fanbois.

Played a bit in CB and playing in OB now.

It's nothing really special, but it is better than a lot of the other f2p games out there (imo). As far as f2p games go, this is one of the better ones. I would recommend Lotro or DDO before this, but I actually prefer FW.

There is one issue that is bugging a lot of people though; Use of potions. When you get up to lvl 20+ you'll be using a lot of them, mostly mana potions. As they're fairly expensive to buy from NPC's, this is quite a big problem. The only options you have are to either make use of the botany and alchemy jobs to make your own, or to spend some $$$. I'm currently just wasting money on pots (I'm lazy and don't want to spend any money on the cash-shop) and I'm managing so far, but I am quite poor as a result.

Either way, definitely worth a try.
