To everyone saying that the game is unbalanced/pvp is unbalanced...

Well, yes, of course it will be. It was just launched. Give it time, it'll get better. Just wanted to say that... Cause people are saying they're leaving because it's unbalanced... Just wanna inform you. If you're asking for a game to be perfectly balanced, bug free, etc. right from launch, you're simply asking too much out of a game.

    I'm not leaving the game but if you think the pvp will be fine without adjustments to certain souls you are on drugs.

     

    Better gear is only making it worse as some classes/souls scale better then others.  

    CC  times in pvp need to be lowered and diminishing returns need the impact play quicker then they currently do.

    Mana drain is out of control rendering Casters as a free kill. 

     

    With this being said it's not really a PvP game so what else should we expect.

    Yeah seriously.  People demand the world these days.  I agree give it some time.  Even the most popular MMO can't even balance their game (crappy developers)  and it's how many years later?  I think Trion can do it just give it time.

    They literally gave warriors everything you could ever want. Best CC, great gap closers, mana drains, tons of burst, large health pool, range damage, aoe fear................I finished a cleric and once i hit 50 and started getting into pvp I realized I had made a huge mistake. Clerics and every mage except 1 build of pyro is fodder for Warriors to beat on. Without exagerating 1 build of mage and 0 builds of cleric are viable for pvp. Clerics can spec heal bot and that's it. Rift's career and combat team failed big time with making warriors so OP

    Actually, most MMOs never gets balanced enough, 

    With so many options you have in Rifts I would be very surprised if it would be balanced, Wow cut out a lot of options to make it easier to balance and I can't say they really succeded yet.

    Only balanced game or nearly so is Guildwars and they had the same levelcap since '05 and had a full time employee working on it since.

    Rifts balance will be better , probably as good as the competitors in a few months so give it a chance. No amount of beta testing can create a fully balanced game.

    I didn't expect it to be perfectly balanced but its just so lope sided atm unless you play a warrior and to a lesser extent a rogue.

    What CC? Only one that I can recall having on my Warrior is a 15 second decapitate that break on damage and has a 30 second CD so it can't be spammed... This is way up in the Paragon tree that sucks for PvP.

    Mana Drains I can understand, but really... if there weren't some way to drain you freaking immortal clerics then there'd be no way to kill you without ganging up on you with 5 other people. The mana drains come from only 1 tree and to get the most out of it you have to put a lot of points in it.

    Tons of burst? If I specced to have the mana drain mentioned above I won't have burst. All the builds that have burst lack survivability. I will agree that we're very bursty at lower levels, but beyond that It becomes much harder to kill someone. We can't heal ourselves directly unless you spec Paladin and blow a 10min CD so why can't we have at least some burst????

    What's the difference between having a large health pool and being able to heal??? Looking at the bigger picture there's really none, but I'm sure as a cleric you can heal yourself for at least twice as much health that I have.

    Why is range damage a problem?

    AoE fear in a PvP situation where the majority of people will have 1, if not 2, ways of breaking out of fear isn't a problem.

     

    It's not even worth arguing over. PvP will never be completely balanced... it's impossible. There will always be classes who are better at killing others and those who you kill easily are capable of killing those who you have trouble with.
