Right now Allods is "selling" Holy Charms, items that prevent your items from being cursed on death, for 0gpotatos, or basically, FREE.
I don't know how long this willl last but it seems they are trying to remove some of the hate towards Allods and its infamous mechanics and cash shop.

if it's free, why don't they just remove the curse feature? because there's a high chance that it'll cost something as soon as some people come back.
That is a good point, with free holy charms, the curse system is obsolete. But I think they are doing this for two reasons 1) damage control and 2) you have to open up the item shop tab to get access to your holy charms, which will advertise "deals" and other items for you to buy.
Who knows, the next patch may have a new death system yet again *shrug*.

This was the one game that i played for a while but stopped becuase of the cash shop. Which is odd because most CS offer things that speed up progression, but i think this one stopped me because it made PvP almost impossible without it, and because it throw you into PvP in the game, that literlly made the last part of the game impossible to play without it.
They did have some unique ideas though, like that furball race, where you had 3 of them and you could customize each one. That was cute and cool (to me) at the same time.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
