Life after an event...
Is it me or does it seem like events don't promote grouping that well. Most of the time when I got into events as soon as it was over everyone went their own way. I know some people probably love this, but it feels kinda like you are getting really nothing out of grouping. They might as well don't do a group and have everyone gain xp and currency still.

and that is how rift are, and the minor rift you don't even need a group to do it, just major ones, and others event you can just kill some mobs enough to get some kind of reward, you don't really need to enter the group for it
Group before the Rift than, or join people who are only rifting. The mechanics of getting back to your pre-Rift group are non-existent of course, but yeah if you're solo you'll pop in and out of groups frequently. Join a guild or make some friends, don't rely on Rifts.
After every event its pvp chaos. Even in my pve shard pvp is almost certain after we kill the boss. I love it!
