I got my Beta key. Thank you very much mmorpg.com :-)
I even managed to register with gamigo. Unfortunately, I cannot find any way to register with Black Prophecy. All i get is a web page with a trailer and some screen shots. there are no 'Register' or any other buttons or meaningful links.
Assistance will be appreciated.

There should be registration link on the Black Prophecy frontpage. Click on that and enter your gamigo account information. Then you can register you key.

Is it just me or is this the worst, most labytinthine registration ever?
I didn't have a problem. Clicked on the link under my beta key to go to the sign in page. Created an account. checked my email for the verification. followed the link in the email and started downloading the client.
When you are at the sign in page, do you have "create account" to the right of your game account name? And did you follow the "create account" link that I just described.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

Not working either. Had my own gamigo account and does not regconize any of the login credentials entered. It just come out Unknown game account. Same goes to new account as well.
didnt work for me too, tho eu is in open beta, so i added that, its on my account, yet i cant log in game.. and i got eu client.. so ftl
edit: finally logged into game, ( eu open beta )
had to add game to gamingo account, but that doesnt do it.. you have to create forum account, which turns out to be game account too.. LIKE WHAT THE F.CK , then it still wont work, dont worry, change password ( of forum aka game account ) then it will tell you pass will be changed in couple mins.. wait.. yay sucess.. WHAT A ROTTING PILE OF SHIT, game better be worth it
You need to create an account. There's a link for that right there next to the field for user name.
Yea also had the password error even though it was the right password. Resetting all the passwords, including the forum one, helped, but only when I did it in firefox. Internet Explorer didn't go through for me, even when it said it did.
I think I might know the problem, it is because this US closed beta is only for those that live in the US and Canada.
The link to register won't shows you the button to register a new accound, but you can highlite the "invisible" texts on the right of the you tube video and you'll see the texts message says it "does not available in your region".
This reminded me of Vindictus where we " the unlucky Ocianic countries" assumed that US closed beta means including us.
well, here hoping I'm wrong because I really want to try this game out.
Unfu*kingbelievably I was able to D/L the EU version and install it. After i installed new .NET crap it even updated the game but then...... I have already registered everything as me in Australia but when I try to log in it says unknown account.
Has anybody got this working?.... How?

Smikis, Cheers, mate. How did you change your BP forum password? There isn't even a goddamned 'Account' page that I can find. Seriously, the designer of the registration should be fired, dragged outside, tarred, feathered and shot.
Read my post ( two posts) above yours, it might explains why. So much for being in a "lucky country" mate.
If that's the case I would give up hope now; like Vindictus, it will takes ages for them to make it available here, if ever.
I D/Led the game from an Aussie game site that had the EU full working version. It even updated after all of the crazy registration crap. I'm no longer talking about a beta. when the game starts up it even says it's a full version. BUT it says I'm an unknown user.
I'm in Canada and I'm getting the same error. I've activated my gamigo account as well as set up a forum account on the Black Prophecy site.
Everything should be in order but when I enter my info plus key on the beta activation page, I get that same error. Sent an email to their customer service last night. I'll post with a solution when/if I get one.

I had problems with beta registration on the beta key entry page as well. said my password wasn't correct. I did this and I'm in. Been playing for a little bit. just to clarify where you change the password. in your Gamigo account system click on 'My Profile', then under black prophecy click on 'details', put in the password twice there and click 'change', just wait a few minutes and your good to register your beta key.
Make sure you have added Black Prophecy to your gamigo account first and also created the forum account. to create forum account click on 'community' and then 'create'. Also this was all done with the u.s. client install.
Just a quick fyi: In my email I receieved when i registered the gamigo/BP account, at the bottom it says they're "activating accounts in batches. You'll get another email as soon as your account for BP EN is activated and ready for play."
I was also getting the password not recognized and such. So im just waiting it out to see if I get that email. I assume the log in process would work then. But I would like to be able to download the NA version beforehand.

I think this thread is in reference for those who already have a beta key and are having problems with beta registration. if you have the beta key already and its giving password issues on the beta key registration page then you should change the password as listed in my last post. Then it will work. In fact, after I figured it out gamigo responded today to my support ticket asking about my problem. They said to do the same thing. All I did yesterday though, was change it to what it already was. Minutes later i was able to register the key.
Also here is the link to the u.s. client download so you can do it before hand(in case you need it). It's what I did.

WOW. I looked in my profile for gamigo and it says I have no accounts. I am registered with the BP forum but not the game. The forum is just as useless as the registration process.
So.... how do I get a game account?
Are they trying to prevent people from playing the game?
I have everything installed, my account is created and confirmed, I can find my account on the gamigo website, but I cannot login to the actual game, I type in my info and get "login error"
typical eu mmos... they got region protections and all the craps.... rule of thumb if you're not in the US/CA/EU don't get your hope too high when trying to register for EU games they most likely have those pesky ip blocker.
and it holds true for black prophecy which blocks my ip (travelling outside US currently) and give the "sorry this can't be played in your region" crap.
last time this happened was when i played LOTRO eu version, then i sorta traveled outside US to japan and i can't access the game because the ip got blocked, same thing when i went to singapore, only when i got back to US then i can re-access the game.
i'd say if they don't want your business just forget about it... there are plenty of nice mmos out there that wants you to play =D

First of all if you live in the UK you should just play the full game from EU servers. its a F2P btw.
Secondly, you might denied access to US server for the above reason.
Third, who said that i can't use the code?
I have registered with gamigo but it won't let me log in so that i can use the BP forums. What kind of idiotic restrictions do they have in place?
