    They are not words and never will be words. Anyone who speaks them aloud needs to seriously get a non-virtual life.

    I've never heard anyone say 'omg' aloud, as opposed to 'oh my god', but even on the job it's very common to hear anyone between the ages of 20-35 say 'lol'. I even hear people say 'gg'.

    due to the massive amount of texting throughout the years, kids in area schools in portland, oregon are allowed to use spell check for their writing profiency exams. what the fuck is that bullshit? web and text lingo has ruined the younger generations. they can't spell.
