In need of a game...
Looking for something that is mainly pvp focused... I don't mind grinding awhile to be able to compete... but if it had a larger noob playerbase so I could start killing people earlier on, that would be best...
Have played:
Lineage 2 - Played for a long time and loved it... best game I have ever played... would still be playing if people weren't botting.
WoW - Years of game time invested, got very very bored (At one point, I would log on, run around the town for 30 min then log off), plus I think the days of raiding are behind me, would much rather go for a good seige. Won't play Rift because of this...
Aion - Got bored.
DCUO - PvP matches were either won in the first 2 min (then they just sit in the spawn till the end) or played against cheaters who would 1 shot everyone. Loved the game thou...
Fallen Earth - Wasn't bad just never got into it... I think it was because of the lag (based in South Africa... server is in the states)
Darkfall - most of the playerbase cheat which I cant stand. I would have stuck with this game for a long long time if this wasnt the case... full loot... hardcore pvp... sieges... right up my alley.
MO - hah hah
I have looked for the last few weeks and haven't found anything... hoping I am missing one that is great? Any ideas would be great.

If it's PvP you want, you can't go wrong with Eve and/or Guild Wars.
Eve takes time to get used to. You don't just jump right into it and know everything from the go. Your best bet is to join a Corp. I love it to death personally.
Guild Wars is another one. You can get the GotY Edition off of Steam for $20. Or Prophecies+Nightfall+Factions for $30. And Eye of the North is $30. Prophecies (original game), Nightfall, and Factions are all 1-20 campaings, and Eye of the North is a level 20 expansion with a ton of more content for level capped players. So you only would need the core game to play. GW GotY gives you some starting weapons and a little fire imp you can summon when you're out and about. I think there is a GW trial you could try as well. Not to mention it's buy to play, and with GW2 on it's way, GW has seen an influx of players just starting out or returning to do the Hall of Monuments stuff.

Seems you already tried most of the main PvP games. Some other ones I'd recomend:
Eve Online: Im sure you've heard of it, I personally never got into it but some love it. Theres a free trials so check it out if you havent.
WAR- Unlimited free trial. You can PvP from lvl 1, its all based around RvR combat. I've been having alot of fun with the unlimited trial, not sure if I want to sub yet though.
Guild Wars- Kind of an older game, but still has some of the best PvP out there if your looking for balance. Also the rest of the game is fun too.
AoC- This game has gotten alot better over the years, though the population is a bit low. Im pretty sure thiers a free trial too.
If cheating is all that deterred you from darkfall Check this.

Ive played since EU lanuch and have only seen 2 cheaters. I have know about people in my own alliance who radar hacked and such. And once the ban waves came they raged and quit was really funny.
They also bought a damcheaters account and reverse-engineered the darkfall hacks and can auto-detect anyone using that program now. If you dont believe me check the damcheaters site its really funny.
If you check the post date it was over a year ago this happened. I can say darkfall is 99% hack/cheat free.

I was ingame 2 days ago and talking to people in RA chat, I openly asked them if people are cheating and replies I got were along these lines:
"macroing = win"
"friend has been banned 6 times and is still doing it, with no problems"
"if you were running a race and you and some other guy were going at the same speed, you would never be able to catch him unless..."
"you can't compete without doing it"
I closed the game and uninstalled it about 5 min after... what were they going on about then? There is also this:

There were alot more posts like this but it seems they are all gone and in their place posts about GM's deleteing posts saying anything negative about the game.
If you can explain whats going on... I will reinstall and start playing straight away. Would be great!!!

What server do you play on?
I play on the NA server. Since im from North America and will get better ping
If your from Europe you should play on the EU server since your ping will be much lower

We don't cheat. I have never cheated. Kill/death ratio is pretty decent. In fact, I have played this game long enough that I can get a good kill/death ratio on a noob if you let me have em over the weekend (no not by killing AFK alts lol).
You do not need to macro to be competitive. I have more fun building up my skills legitimately while I have to do things like earn an income or skin mats that I need. They go up nicely on their own as long as you are not an impatient FPSer or teenager lol. If you do macro than you are missing out in playing the game imo unless its done AFK which is what can get you banned and your bank wiped if you are not careful.
I heard that the EU server has been more active than NA lately.

Edit: Almost forgot to mention that the entire 2 years that I have played I have never lost anything due to someone hacking or cheating. I have come across a few people who used hacks and for a small period of time lots of people did who were suddenly banned all at once and now you cannot find cheats to purchase for this game online anywhere anymore. Try checking for a hack yourself. They are all old and no longer used because AV can detect them much better now.
As far as macroing goes that is up to you. People who say that everyone macros just hang around PVPers who are not intersted in PVE and dont want to start playing until their character has reached a certain point. But the thing is that they still need to learn how to play when they are done macroing and this is something that you can do while playing legitimately. While playing legitimately I came across several macroers who did not have nearly as much fighting experience as me (since I acctually play the game) and they lost even though they macroed their character ahead of mine. It happens. If you die in Darkfall it is always your fault! There is always something that you could have done to either get away or turn the tide. You may not notice these opportunities at first but you will the more that you play.
I had a lot more fun on this character when I rerolled and did not macro but just PVEd than I did on my old one who did not earn anything without a macro or a bloodwall.
Its all pretty much group PVP these days anyways so it really doesn't matter as much as you would think.
I would recommend that if you are going to play DArkfall, to have a side-game to play when you need a break for 10-20 min for an ego repair lol Guildwars and Global Agenda are both great deals and no subs needed and you can get immediate action so only 10 min of playtime is needed for a match really. Darkfall is the funnest long-term game imo by far although it may seem crappy at first during your nooby months.

I will be playing on the EU servers becuase of latency issues to the states. I have played before... I know about the grind and will never macro. I believe if you don't play the game as it is intended to be played, you should be banned. If the game is too hard for you and you need extra tools such as macroing to play it, you should be playing hello kitty online or something better suited to your lazy mentallity (I know i will get flammed for this...it is just my opinion). However, I also understand that darkfall dev's do not mind ppl using macro's as long as they are at the computer at all times while doing so I will stop bitching and complaining about it.
