Ok, in every game i play there is never a person who looks unique, does anyone know any game where everybody in the game looks different? games need more items like weapons and armors, especially armors. The game would seem better with more unique items. Not saying that items are more important then the game engine, but its one of those things.

UO, AC and Puzzle Pirates come to mind.
There's always the superhero MMOs where everyone can be a unique superhero together with the other thousand unqiue superheroes in a world that is so crime infested that a world full of superheroes can't control it.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Game companies like turbine that do not want to reinvest much money back into there game causes things like customization to get left out, or they leave it out of the normal game and make you pay extra for it.

I can't agree more... I'd like to see much more variety, both in appearance and stats on items.
I'd love to see a game with truly unique pieces, only one per server.
I believe rendering is a problem when everyone looks different...effects lag. Not sure though
Go play City of Heroes, Champions Online, DC universe online o.o
I played those 3 and APB and well...People never looked the same in those games xD
But yah!! MMOs need to add more equipment or at least have an appearance equipment slot so they can choose what they look like -.-
As for the super hero mmo...In champions online, each superhero gets a nemesis so...For every hero theres an evil villain mastermind/brute/whichever!
And for DCUO and City of heroes/villains...There are usually more people rolling villains :P

If its a new game then I can understand the limited amount of items, but for crying out loud make crafting the source of unique item sets.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
Why not play RIFT ONLINE or DC ONLINE!!
There everyone is unique, and now you wont have any problems why you have same items or appearance in the game itself. however you should have a good pc with upgraded specs such as graphic card, ram and etc, so that you wont have any lag playing this kind of games.
Have Fun.
DC Online yeah, ok.. but i think you slipped on your keyboard and wrote Rift by mistake.
P.S. On topic, I would like to bring to your attention Borderlands (not an MMO), and in particular the weapons in this game.
They are ALL different, because they are generated from a database of components. They are all unique in both stats and appearance.
The problem is that most MMOs are not using guns, but swords/hammers/bows/shields/staves... and that would be REALLY hard to split in components, randomise, and still got a nice weapon. Same would apply to armors.. not really viable to create random items.
But I would love a game that would achieve that!!!
I agree there should be more items, but I don't want it to be so overwhelming where everyone has different armor and gear. When I play dedicatedly, I like that feeling of me being 'recognized'. I don't mean to the extent you see people in World of Warcraft who pretend to /afk in front of auction houses, but just when I'm roaming around and some guy says "Hey, nice ___!"
If there are too many items it loses that affect.
