Depends. LOTRO had nice landscapes, but the characters were quite ugly (in my opinion). Fallen Earth had some very beautiful sunsets over the apocalypse and open world, but I wouldn't call it the most beautiful game either. And Age of Conan got nice graphics in general.
Age of Conan if you have the power to run it. Tera looks nice . When they update grafix on Aion should be up there too.

Well since you didn't restrcit it to MMO here are my favouites
In terms of art style, I loved Assassin's Creed, their armor is like 'enough is enough', but not to the poiot where you look like a skinned chicken :P, also on a side note, I loved the fact that when your character swims, not only are there splashes, but your clothes are actually wet when you get out.
For Graphical beauty, I think either TERA or ArcheAge. I love their landscape and architecture. Don't really like TERA's cloth/armor design, if there is any at all. Plus it is a problem to me when some male looks exactly like a female toon, there is a line no matter how metro you want your character to look.
For concept arts, Guild Wars 2
Notable mentions goes to SWTOR, I think the game improved a lot since 2009, while not perfect, it is getting to the standard.
How much WoW could a WoWhater hate, if a WoWhater could hate WoW? As much WoW as a WoWhater would, if a WoWhater could hate WoW.

If your talking about MMOs that are out now then it would be FFXIV. If your interested in future MMOs then TERA will be the next best looking MMO released, after that we'll get ArcheAge which will be even better (it recently got upgraded to the Crytech 3 engine).
GW2 is also a great looking games and SWTOR has nice stylized graphics.

Definitely Tera in my opinion. Pretty much love everything about the game.
